Toy Tonics records does tracks made for the dancefloor. Newcomers from all around the world. Now Jacky Mingo & Kapote deliver their first ever release.  The kids have latin-american roots, but live in Berlin. They love soul music. They like Moodymann. And french filter house - this certain sex appeal. The first track Caliente is a hymn to Mexico. It was made with a little help from Munk. The backingtrack reminds late 90ies Soul-house artists like Black Science Orchestra or Masters at Work. The other two tracks are funk-driven DJ tools for old school dancefloors. Friends of Max Graef or Todd Terje will love this.

Pour fêter les 2 ans du label, Pont Neuf Records dévoile un nouveau volume de sa série de compilation référence Habemus Paname Vol. III avec les artistes ayant marqué l’année du label et les autres membres de l’écurie parisienne : Tour-Maubourg, TAOS, le duo ALVA mais aussi madcat, Cosmonection, Heuphrasia, Kx9000 et Paris Groove.

Ce troisième volume est une nouvelle occasion de faire la part belle aux influences qui compose l’éventail musical protéiforme du label en prenant plaisir à mélanger les genres tels que la house, le jazzfunk, la disco ou le hip-hop avec les multiples possibilités qu’offre la musique électronique.

Road 909, le nouveau titre signé Heuphrasia, emprunte à la seconde partie de la compil des airs de cosmique disco, notamment mis en orbite par le savoureux mélange d'une ligne de basse particulièrement grasse et de nappes synthétiques venues d'ailleurs. En résulte, un titre doté d'un groove intemporel.

Sure you do, they paid homage to the acts that changed the game musically. A lot more music has been released since then and that's where Mumdance & Logos come in.

Source Direct, DJ Die, Fabio & Grooverider, Surgeon and James Ruskin are just a few of the artists that get a shout out in their homage to the original banger.

This version is a gnarly, electro excursion and appears as part of Mumdance's amazing, upcoming 'Shared Meanings' compilation which drops on November 23.
