There he is. Hailing from Cologne/Germany, singer/songwriter and multi instrumentalist Can Canseven appears on the broad map of pop music seemingly right out of nowhere. 

Fueled by his deep love for authentic folk- and rock music, Can discovered playing the guitar and writing lyrics for his own good at quite an early age… mainly influenced by a variety of idols like Jimi Hendrix, John Mayer and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. 

The special passion for music was something Can was born and bred with. Not only, but also because his father Levent Canseven (aka Can7 aka Levthand) has a few decades of international dj career under his belly, as well as production- and remix credits for a wide range of heavyweights such as Randy Crawford, Ricky Martin, Moloko, Bootsy Collins and De La Soul feat. Chaka Khan, just to name a few.

And once father and son finally got together like that for an easy studio jam, a proper hit song was just bound to happen.

Complimenting the catchy original version, the two additional remixes included in this release easily manage to hit the spot and come courtesy of DJ/producer MEINES, also hailing from Cologne, and the man CASBO, who shares not only a couple of projects with Can but is also his flatmate.  

“She’s Gone” effortlessly introduces someone to watch out for in terms of credible pop vibes with that certain airplay twist. Just because Can can. She might be gone… but he definitely came to stay!
