Another edition of the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is just around the corner, and this year marks its 30th anniversary. As always, Chrom Recordings is ready to celebrate in style with their annual ADE Sampler and a 2-day label showcase happening on Friday and Saturday. Our ADE Chrom Sampler features 10 carefully curated tracks, reflecting the diverse sounds of Progressive House, Indie Dance, and Melodic House & Techno. The Compilation opens with 2 recent Chrom anthems: Horizon, taken from the #100-album by our own label manager Pedro Mercado alongside Karada, followed by our latest single Missing, the iconic 90s classic from Everything But The Girl covered by Yves Eaux feat. Gregory Douglass. The remaining 8 tracks are brand-new and exclusive to this release. Half of them are contributions from trusted Chrom regulars: Fernando Lagreca, DJ Andy de Gage, Paul Sawyer and Daniel Vilchez. The other half is coming from artists who are new to our label: JP Lantieri from France, VUH from Mexico, GELIMA from Thailand and Juwlz from Belgium. We hope you enjoy this years selection! And if youll be in Amsterdam this October for ADE, wed love to see you at our Label Showcase on Friday the 24th and Saturday the 25th. Just like last years, were teaming up with our good friends from Tanzgemeinschaft, with Strange Town Recordings from Canada joining us on Friday. Across two days, well feature 16 international artists performing from 18:00 until 02:00 on both days at The Flying Dutchman (located opposite Amsterdam Central Station). And best of all—entry is free!

The German-Estonian duo DONT BLINK produce a relentless tech sound, shaped by influences from techno, progressive, and indie dance. Since breaking through in 2018 with INSANE on Nervous Records, they’ve delivered releases on STEREOHYPE, Tomorrowland Music, Repopulate Mars, AETERNA, The Myth of NYX, and their own imprint LOW CEILING, home to their 2023 debut album THE STATEMENT. Their prolific output and rising profile have fuelled tours across South America, Europe, Southeast Asia, and Australia. 

Their debut on Truesoul is a high-octane dancefloor trip. ‘ACTIVATOR’ is a pumping late-night roller marked by a cheeky succession of vocal rhymes. DONT BLINK share: “We wanted to create a track that immediately cranks up the energy and picks up everyone straight away. ACTIVATOR was the 
perfect concept, and luckily it rhymes with just about anything!” 

It's accompaniment ‘STIMULANTS’ delivers on its promise, a full-bodied dancefloor workout packed with plenty of energetic tension thanks to a wired vocal sample. “The idea for ‘STIMULANTS’ came to us when playing frisbee at the beach in Bali. One of our young team mates has ADHS and we were talking about Ritalin and Adderall and the different effects on the brain and concentration. Her response: ‘We all need stimulants’. It really stuck so we had to record the vocal and make it into a 
track!”
