TQuest, born on October 26 and raised in Akoka, Lagos, is a Nigerian songwriter, singer, radio on-air personality (O.A.P), radio show producer, and graphic art director. Growing up in the early ’80s generation, he developed a deep appreciation for music, storytelling, and creative expression-elements that continue to shape his artistic journey.

Influenced by the early hip-hop and R&B era as well as reggae music, TQuest draws inspiration from artists such as Buju Banton, Bob Marley, Nate Dogg, 2Pac, Soul IV Real, Usher, Wyclef Jean, alongside the rich rhythms and conscious messaging of reggae. This fusion informs a distinctive sound that blends soulful melodies, lyrical depth, rhythmic groove, and cultural awareness.

Beyond music, TQuest’s creative reach extends into broadcast media and visual arts, where he brings ideas to life through radio production and graphic art direction.
