Drifting in and out of consciousness. A feverish sleepless night snapped awake by the daybreak sun streaming through the tiny gap in the curtains. An eighteen hour flight cramped into a small chair unable to shake off this nagging neck pain. 
Broken sleep interrupted by pinging intercom announcements beamed from the flight deck, never quite able to make them out properly and never quite able to fully drift off. 
Sleep deprivation my only friend. Forced to make music together. It's all I can do. I'll sleep when I'm dead.

TRANKS are moving closer to a sound they always wanted. Straddled between beautiful uplifting warehouse techno, the sound of Underworld and the dub ambience of Seefeel alongside frenetic punk disco. Born out of playing live electronic music with real drums, guitar and bass. Not always easy but always fun trying.

‘Armrest’ will be the bands 2nd release of 2024 as an album takes shape, with all the good intention in the world, be part of a full length release later in the year.
