I wanted to stay true to the concept Daft Punk had when it came to altering emotions during the songs.  Some parts are slow and dark, others fast and bright.  I hope you like it!

If I had to give a genre to this, it would be "Raw House."
I made a lot of changes while working on this track.  Originally it was going to be hardstyle, with a fast house build up, but I decided to slow it down.  Despite the fact, I still use a raw kick in some parts of the track.  

I focussed more on the soundscape than the overall danceability.  The drums are run through an analog compressor and gate.  I've never really experimented with gates before but I really like the effect it had on the cymbals.  Some of the drum sounds were also from an analog drum machine, which is a piece of equipment I often neglect, but I love the sound it created, so I want to use it more now.  Most of the synths are analog emulations, coming from the Arturia line, except the saw lead in the middle, which is FM.
