The theme is "Two Worlds" and/or the picture on the album cover (participants are allowed to choose from the two).

This is my first composition :)

As my specialty is free improvisation, I made this composition by mixing improvisation and composition. One is a sound improvisation with paper and pencil, another one is an improvisation with "Google translate". 

I like very well the sound of pencil and paper, because I feel to hear "the reflection" of each one. 
I wanted to incarnate "the reflection" as the sound to be able to hear it.

Two Worlds - Juxtaposition

This track was created as the theme for an (imaginary) 8-bit JRPG in which the story unfolds simultaneously on a large, volatile planet ruled by feudal lords, and its only moon: a small, verdant paradise that suddenly faces existential threat from a mysterious power after many centuries of peace. These two disparate worlds have long since stopped all contact with each other, but two inhabitants have found they can reach out across the void to each other through their dreams...

It was originally completed within 48 hours as a submission for the OST Composing Jam: CRUNCHTIME, where the theme for the soundtrack was 'Two Worlds.' Some small changes, mainly to the mix, have been made to the post-jam version.

This track was made using Renoise and some chiptune plugins that I programmed myself using the JUCE framework.
