Cut from the In Your Dirty Ears residency at Public Records, the mix spans from trip hop and dub to bass heavy dance music with Amelia Holt on for the first hour, followed by Yumi for the later hour and a half. For the second volume of lazed, a mix series thought as a playground for listening music, we're happy to introduce Italian DJ and visual artist Aka Hyoo. Next to Djing in a club setting, the Decadance collective co-owner has always been keen of experimental listening music scenarios. Through his selections, he guides the listener into a blend of cinematic sounds, creating vivid and otherworldly sonic experiences. 

Aka Hyoo: "The introspective silence of John Cage's "4'33''" and Plastic Ono Band's "give peace a chance" samples, set the floor to this melancholic cinematic odyssey, inspired by Jim Jarmusch's Champagne chapter from "Coffee and Cigarettes.” Contrasting emotions intertwine, mixing popular and upbeat sounds with darker, somber moods through sporadic vocals, endless loops, and noisy glitches. It is a personal reflection on the world, crafted to evoke a sense of distance and contemplation."
