Groupe de la rive-nord de Montréal et d'un peu partout aux alentours, avec un son folk rock influencé par Richard Desjardins, Plume Latraverse et les Cowboys Fringants. La musique de Trace d’Ours fait visiter les émotions entre celles du Reggae et du Dixieland en passant par celles qu’on vit près d’un feu de camp. C’est festif, c’est immersif.
Le groupe foule les planches et se donne en spectacle à travers la province au plus grand plaisir des spectateurs. Dans la dernière année, le groupe folk festif a partagé les planches entres autres avec Canailles, Les Chiens de ruelles, Raphaël Dénommé et la mythique formation La Vesse du Loup.
Formé de Jonathan Pilon à la voix, guitare, Philippe "T-Bird" Germain au banjo, Louis-Jeay Beaulieu à la guitare électrique, Philippe Leduc à la basse et Samuel Charrette à la batterie, Trace d'Ours présente un folk rock digne d'une veillée dans votre « shack » préféré.
C'est parti pour s'abreuver d'histoires de « roadtrips » et de feux de St-Jean-Baptiste qui éclatent comme des pétards à mèches avec le folk débridé de Trace d’Ours.
