Formed in the Winter of 2012, Trace The Sky is made up of former members of Dead Eyes Open and The Perfect Trend. With a common goal of creating honest music that has no boundaries, and no limit to how "heavy" or "melodic" each song has to be, TTS is a band that is clearly influenced by many genres, and is proud of it.

Having years of prior touring experience, the band also realizes how important it is to build a fan base from the ground up: "Nothing comes easy; A band that doesn't work hard for their success isn't deserving of it."

Past experiences include playing Warped Tour, being Zone Band of the Month, reaching Top 20 in the Fox Seeds competition, being invited to Canadian Music Week in Toronto, and opening for Thrice, Protest the Hero, Alexisonfire, Cancer Bats, Mariana's Trench, and more. The band also has roots in the underground Canadian music scene, and are huge supporters of it. 

Their debut 6 song EP, "Messages", was recorded with Adam Sutherland (Acres of Lions, Kincaide, The Maddigans) at Infiniti Studios in the fall of 2013, with a release date of January 2014. The band plans on following the release with tours in both Western and Eastern Canada.
