After an eighteen month writing-the-album-travelling-the-world break, Fish Go Deep and Tracey K return with, "Battery Man", release number three from their Go Deep label . It's a soulful, uplifting tale of, er, wine and honey set to a deep-bassed swinging house groove. It's been a favourite at their live shows for some time and it's also the first taste of their forthcoming and long awaited album.

here's what the man says: One year on from their last release together, Fish Go Deep and Tracey Kelliher return to the dancefloor with another killer club song. A Dream sets Tracey's haunting vocal to an atmospheric, bass-driven groove, with layers of percussion, synth and guitar building tension throughout. Dream Dub pushes the bass elements even further, working the low end while keeping the musical elements strictly in the groove. And finally the mighty Chymera pitches in with a pulsing rework, looping a couple of key parts and creating a whole new context for Tracey’s vocal.

Around 1999/2000 I was in a band called Dextris with Aisling Kelly and Cyril Brisco. We  recorded only a handful of songs together, this being a favourite.
