Technimatic made it into our top 10 albums of 2014 with debut LP 'Desire Paths'. The record had the duo conjure up super fresh drum 'n' bass; tunes varying from pacy, full-on smashers to blissed out vocal lullabies.

With three releases already under their belts for Black Butter and MTA Records, Tommy and Jammo have built on their tastemaker status to produce remixes for the likes of UK No.1 “La La La” by Naughty Boy, “Right Here” by Rudimental, and “Mozart’s House” by Clean Bandit.

With Jammo originally hailing from High Wycombe and Tommy from Kent, the duo combined to form My Nu Leng when they moved to Bristol, taking influences from the spectrum of underground UK sounds with them – Drum and bass, Dubstep, UK garage and Grime all find outlets in their music. My Nu Leng are similarly known for their blistering sets and dark, smouldering vibe, heavy on the mood but always compulsively danceable.

From their adopted home of Bristol – where early Reggae, Drum and Bass and Dubstep pioneers all the way to Massive Attack and Portishead informed their cultural history, both understood the heritage and importance of bass music in the city. Since then My Nu Leng have toured pretty much all over the world: the United States, Australia, New Zealand and Asia, all showing love and emphasising the realisation of how far they’ve come from their first singles to their most recent EP ‘Horizons’ getting heavy radio support on BBC 1Xtra and BBC Radio 1.

With new music on the way and a packed diary of live tour dates, these are exciting times for My Nu Leng, proving they’re equally at home on underground tracks and Official Number One records. A tricky ask, Tommy and Jammo – just like their meteoric career so far – have made it look easy.

Plasma Audio mark their 20th release with a solo EP titled ‘Distant light' from label founder, Safire. The EP compiles of two dnb and three half time tracks exploring moments in time that venture through deep soundscapes, distorted baselines, hip hop inspired beats & technical production. The EP depicts various styles which the label has grown to be known for.

Conceptual & artistic is the theme while each track has meaning intertwined into its design - from dark to light experiences to political messages, the EP has a rich flavour and will have you feeling the music more than banging your head, with some exception as one or two of the tracks have a remarkable energy that is sure to hurt any dance floor. Artwork for the release has been hand drawn by Japanese designer Nene of QQQ, full release due out 13th of November 2017.

Hailing from the city of Nis in Serbia, Djordje Jeremic is a producer who has a soft spot for deep dynamic minimal sounds. Producing Drum & Bass under the name 'Missing' he is turning the heads and ears of bedroom producers, everyday fans of the genre to even professional DJs and prominent figures within the Drum & Bass sphere.

Mistakes EP, is the first solo release on Terra Firma for Missing, having previously collaborated with Nemy with the smooth 'Did To Me'. Here, his clinical production combined with throttled basslines and eerie padded textures results in a transcendent piece of work and a mystical listening experience.

Title track 'Mistakes' sets the tone with floating vocals meandering throughout a dark bed of anticipation. Dynamic percussion and prodding basses are ever-present, as there are in 'No Good', an extension to what is becoming an enveloping mysterious journey. The gearstick gets changed in 'Shaku', we aren't sure whether it's gone up or down a gear, but here a strong rhythm imposes itself courtesy of textbook Missing halftime beats. Last up is 'Not Regular', an emphatic last chapter sending shivers down your spine.
