Feryne (@feryne) is a true music aficionado with a restless passion for authentic electro music, who has been crafting electrifying mixes focused on electro, IDM, and techno since 2005. Her sonic journey has led her to grace the stages of acclaimed clubs and festivals across Hungary, while also leaving her mark on international venues in many other European cities. Currently based in the Netherlands, she continues to push musical boundaries as a resident DJ at Nijmegen's very own Open Source Radio. MR GENTLE Is a DJ/producer from the East coast of the UK.
On the dance floor in the early days of Acid house & later spending many a night at clubs such as The Orbit & The End listening to artists such as Richie Hawtin, Cari Lekebusch, Jesper Dahlback, Alexi Delano & Joey Beltram with Fat Cat Records also being a big influence & inspiration to him.
Currently working on his first solo album & a side project with fellow collaborator Whak Bionic.
This mix is energy & dancefloor focused but I also listen to the more melodic side of Electro & particularly acid heavy tracks. I'm also liking the shift to more IDM influenced Electro.
Artists such as Serge Geyzel, The Subdermic, Lloyd Stellar, Human Rebellion, Data Rebel & Lord Jalepenos are currently inspiring me with their music.

Atix - Electro-Activity-45 (2024.02.10)

@djtygre is the alias of San Francisco-based Andreas Tagger. He started DJing in 1995 and was active in the underground rave scene of Philadelphia until around 2000 when he opted to take a long hiatus from DJing. After the break, he recently became inspired by the darker sounds of Electro and Techno and has since been producing mixes at a break-neck speed in the last year. He told me that this mix "is meant to evoke the qualities of vintage computing magazines, vocoded pinball speech, and breakdancing under foggy strobe lights." Enjoy!

It's been 1 year of ParallaX and for the occasion our founder EKATA has recorded a mix with the very essence that encapsulates our soon to be Label and mix series.

EKATA is a London based DJ/Producer + Natural Selection Resident who's productions are characterised by their dark and atmospheric soundscapes, driven by pulsating rhythms and intricate synth work.

With support from the likes of Anthony Rother, Bloody Mary, Dave Clarke amongst others, EKATA's genuine and passionate approach to Electro is something that is rarely matched.

Determined to create music that is unearthly, idiosyncratic and exuding futurism of that of a sci-fi film, she always ensures a story is to be told in each track she produces.
She mainly sticks to the dark and eerie side of Electro in her productions & gigs, where she will take you on a dark and twisted journey through incredibly dystopian, ominous grooves and obvious sci-fi fixations which embody her carefully picked selections.
