Drox's debut solo 12” EP, "Hexameter." This EP features a high-energy remix by 16 Faces, adding a distinct clattering 160 bpm 808 beatdown to the collection.

“Hexameter” brings together a diverse range of sounds, from machine funk and intricate acid lines to engaging detroit-styled dystopian and alien-like synth scapes. Each track offers a unique auditory experience, inviting listeners to explore new otherworldly sonic territories.

Drox emphasizes rhythmic interplay throughout the EP, with a strong focus on groove. The use of rhythmic hexameters and their accents creates a series of tough, dancefloor-focused electronic groove tools.

The compilation continues with Search by Coal Goal, drawing inspiration from early Detroit classics, and concludes with Stocktone, a piece by Junuary Born, better known as DJ Fryanik.

Andreas, who ventured into DJing back in 1995, started his musical journey crafting mix tapes and spinning drum and bass in Philadelphia's underground rave scene. Currently based in San Francisco, Andreas combines his love for music with his studies in computer science. Operating under the alias Tygre (@djtygre), he immersed himself in the darker realms of electro, techno, and drum and bass from 1997 to 2000. After a prolonged hiatus, Tygre, inspired by the hypnotic sounds of electro, techno, and drum and bass, is back to spread his passion for music, the art of mixing, and the creation of mesmerizing sonic journeys. How To Be A Hermit

Roulette Rekordz has been a home for misfits, freaks and special characters since its creation. So when Nachtwald sent me his demo, I immediately felt a connection.

Johnny Hoorneboeg is a bit of a mystery to me, he seems rather young and quite shy but his music sounds like from a veteran from the Bunker/Den Haag crew. He does not talk much and does not use social media but acts in a goofy troll-esque way. I dont know much else, he seems to spend all his time doing music in his home of Nieuw-Loosdrecht.

At least you can tell he's coming from The Netherlands... but he sounds more like the sweaty nights of the dirty brown and miserable city than the trendy parties of the capital.

6 tracks of 5 AM music, when the dancefloor is cleared and you only see ghosts through a wall of smoke pulsating to music you never heard before but always knew about...

Hidden Realms

As our second release, we present the first solo album by SOD-90 - a well-established artist on highly respected labels, originally from Paris, started producing alongside his studies as a flutist at the renewed university of classical music from Berlin.

Combining his knowledge from a wide range of musical backgrounds with his experience as a professional instrumentalist, he crafted an intense sound, characterized by noisy textures, scorching synth lines, with distorted drums and twisted vocals. All this added to complex and dynamic arrangements. He intends to continue exploring creative approaches to production, aiming to evolve his style towards an increasingly powerful and unconventional aesthetic.

Fueled by the raw energy of analog machines, "Teeth Against Metal" is an outlet through distortion, with a fearless punk take on the electro sound.
It's the raucous sound of your teeth grinding under the pressure of what cannot be expressed with words.
