For this 154th Premiere of 2022, we have a track by Fotoapparat featuring Monoshuv titled ‘Maxwellscher Dämon’ from his forthcoming self-released EP "F.A.S".

FOTOAPPARAT was born somewhere in Europe, around the 21st century. The project is thought as a multimedia experiment with roots both from the past and the future : it is the fruit of the love of strange music, social science fiction and last but not least, underground electronic subcultures. 

"Fotoapparat - F.A.S" will be available from June 14, 2022 in digital on all the best digital store.

Fotoapparat Archives Service is a collection of reworked, sometimes forgotten early tracks.
Inspired by many electronic music movements, the compilation ranges from dark electronic to post punk, with a light touch of experimental. This EP is a cry of love to electronic music in its inner complexities, its many sub-genres and the countless bridges between them.

Fotoapparat Archives Service will release on june 14th on bandcamp & streaming platforms. The bandcamp release will include a remastered version of "Zweiundzwanzig" as a bonus track.

For some people, it takes their whole lives searching for something. Whether far or close, it often comes unexpected, but these events do happen for a reason and usually have a pursue. Some people search for meaning whilst others for their significant other. Paths can suddenly become clear and true. For a band like Nordland, they found themselves in the streets of an eighties Zurich protest. Even if given immortality to think about places where you could find your purpose, the time would be wasted if you were to have guessed that romance and riots would ever go together. Amid the chaos of that day, when all you could hear was the shouts of protestors, the smell of the violence in the air, anger in the eyes and hope spread on lips, one can look back forty years later, where the events that followed all now seem like a distant dream, but that remained reality into changing the lives of this pair forever.

The genesis of Nordland partly came from this scenario. Mario Scherrer and Priska Weber found something in each other that led them being together to this day. Spanning a career of over 10 years, this album features Nordland's early works that were composed a couple of years before and prior of Squares and Crossings (DDP004). An intriguing approach to New Wave music, incorporating elements of pop and new age whilst not sacrificing the duo's musical influences, the music of Nordland is at the time melancholic and fresh, which they like to compare to the bleakness and vastness of fairy tale like forests. Despite having a few lineup changes, Nordland's breakthrough gig was as a pair, opening for the Irratics and The Young Gods in Fri-Son (Fribourg, CH) on the 9th of May, 1987.

Sourced from the original tapes provided by the SRF3 (then called DRS3); the national Radio for the German and Romansh territories of Switzerland. This never before released live set has been enhanced and remastered by yours truly in lip biting stereo and will not only include their breakthrough gig from Fri-Son but also the reissue of their debut self-titled EP.

Panoramic Barrier (aka LivingTotem, dj kraak) is an underrated local legend who has been producing music, organizing gigs and DJing for 3 decades now in the Hungarian Industrial/EBM scene. 

Bondage Dance Survivor Machine is 4 punky, raw and catatonic-industrial tracks that Panoramic Barrier recorded using only analog gears. What you can hear on this EP is the pure sound from his machines. 

This EP is the 9th episode in the Dalmata Daniel Digital only series and it comes with an exclusive limited screen printed hoodie, which is the physical part of the release. 

We would like to salute to his music and tireless, enthusiastic work to keep alive the scene all these years, therefore we release a limited cassette with all his previous tracks from digital compilations alongside with Bondage Dance Survivor Machine EP.

J. Mono twists our sense of time again, coming up with the third installment of his ‘Redate’ series on Dalmata Daniel: an elegant selection of uncut tracks, roaming in the fields of electro, acid, IDM and EBM. Redate III in its digital format presents tracks that were written and recorded between 2014 and 2015. As the cassette version, it includes not only Redate III (as side A), but a collection of J. Mono’s various other tracks created between 2017 and 2021, that appeared beforehand on various compilation albums (as side B). In other words, with this fresh new tape you’re all set with 8 years of J. Mono experience.

FAKE is an annual avant garde zine/compilation focused on underground music, photography ,poetry and graphic design.
The project is run by musician, photographer and writer Cristiano Feleppa Grimaldi in New York.
Jonathan Castro is the graphic designer of FAKE#1: he uses graphic design as a colourful depiction of a living spirit always moving in search of new possible visual futures, tools and languages.

The absence is the main theme of this issue, as mindlessness in the society of 2020 lead by overexposition, technology and self obsession.
