After a prolific year where he multiplied releases on labels such like Return To Disorder, Superluminal, and Libertine, the French electro genius returns to New Flesh Records. Author of a remarkable "Moving Corridors" contribution on the mighty "Elektro Diktators Vol.1 - The French Dissidents" compilation (NF15) back in 2015, dynArec delivers today on Umwelt's imprint four raw and dystopian slaughters calibrated for maximum impact on the dancefloor.
The title track signs a no nonsense aquatic electro/techno tune a la Drexciya, tinted with melancholic strings and heading Speak n' Spell samples. Pure madness! Cyberpunk "Correlation" goes harder, offering a pounding 4/4 song enhanced by appealing vocoder lyrics and deep synth flights while syncopated "Influoncers" coming next focuses on a more robotic, experimental yet unhealthy approach. Final cut "Clean It Up" concludes the EP on a machine funk note characterised by insane female vocals, distorted chords, relentless bassline and futuristic touch throughout.
Magnetic and emotional, forward thinking "Disenchanted EP" alternates in a minute between very melodic moments and epic hard techno sequences. With roots from both Germany and Detroit, this electro masterpiece sees dynArec in full effect, showing his unique sense of the dancefloor thanks to an incredible use of bass, rhythm and pads that makes the tracks effective and advanced at the same!

Distrito 91 presents the first installment os its Various Artists compilation series; "Our Own Algorithm" VOL.1

Side A begins with "Transfer Your Energy" an acid trip of classic electro with 808 drums and dreamy synth pads signed by Sound Synthesis. The master Dark Vektor follows with "Mil Imperios Mil Destinos" an epic track with fat basslines, cutting arpeggios and other-wordly vocals. 

The B-side start with "Detox" by Madrid-based producer TR_9009, a real electro-techno psycho track. Finally the record ends with UHF's "Unstable Isolation" a greasy and aggressive EBM-oriented track.

We are thrilled to announce a live set by Gab Gato recorded at Leoncavallo (Milan), 22 September 2023.

Gab Gato is a well known figure in Italy's underground scene since the 90's. Producer, illustrator and DJ he has performed in various clubs and festivals around Europe and is the founder of The Villains Inc., an indipendent label. He is a fan of Detroit's funk sound and his catalogue ranges from hip hop to techno, although he is mainly known for a dark and cold electro sound which is clearly inspired by the 80's and 90's music era. He has performed along side some of the greatest names in techno and electro worldwide: Juan Atkins, Alan Oldham, Dj Assault, Detroit in Effect, Anthony Rother and Dopplereffekt. He has releases partnered with Keith Tucker (AUX88), Dj Stingray, Bass Junkie and Max Durante.

Which artists has influenced you the most?

- The list would be too long so Ill stick to Electro/Techno artists:
Mad mike not only for his music but the overall social involvement. Cybotron, Aux88, Drexciya and their side projects, Robert Hood ... just the first few that come to my mind.

What new projects/releases with your participation are expected in the near future?

- A couple of Villains release are on the way in 2024,but I’d rather not anticipate anything. Im also closing some collaboration tracks and a couple of Ep for other labels. And after a long break Im also back to djing. Im also working on a new live set.

Which artists/labels is more relevant to you now?

- It's difficult to name a specific artist/label but there is a lot of good music out there. I have appreciated a lot of recent release both Electro and Techno and I still feel a good connection with the Detroit Sound. Id like to mention 'Nativist' by Ultradyne for the good music and the even better concept behind it.

What inspires you now to create music?

- The world around me is always a good source of inspiration.

What set-up do you use when creating music?

- Vintage Drum machines and synths, my beloved MPCs, a few digital synths as a Microkorg and computer where needed.

VIERNULVIER RECORDS drops "Quadric Surfaces," the latest LP by Hieroglyphic Being (Jamal R Moss) next month - a soundtrack for the abstract animation film "Parallel Spheres" and "Figures in Mynd" by visual artist Gabriela González Rondon. Premiered at the Videodroom/Film Festival Gent in October 2023, the film's surreal visuals found harmony with Hieroglyphic Being's psychonautic soundscapes which showcased an immersive blend of off-world frequencies and raw primal sounds.
