Premiere: Edit Select "Warning Signal" - Edit Select Records

New reference introducing the Polish producer Szmer, who brings us three wild and dynamic cuts followed by two outstanding remixes. On the A side the artist builds this release defending the sounds of the old school, sucking from the Detroit Techno and abusing of the well-known TR-909 drum machine in a very pleasant way. Raw aesthetics and exceptional rhythmic work could perfectly describe the first three tracks of the package. On the B side we have the remixes of Uun and Vertical Spectrum, providing the dose of darkness and mysticism that makes this one a very attractive and interesting release.

Founded in 2000 by Spanish techno icon @cristianvarela, the now esteemed Black Codes Experiments imprint has, over the past two decades, forged itself a firm reputation as one of the most prestigious, forward-thinking labels on the international electronic music circuit.

Home to some of underground techno’s biggest hitters (Regis, Mark Broom, The Advent, Ken Ishii, Takaaki Itoh, Tensal, P.E.A.R.L and Arnaud Le Texier to name just a few) and often given the same reverence as labels such as Tresor, R&S and Music Man, what Cristian and his label partner Ian Axide have built over the past twenty years is nothing short of remarkable.

Now, as the label looks to continue this fine run of form into the new decade, Cristian’s long time label mate Ian Axide unveils his incredible new EP ‘Close To Hell’. A four-part package showcasing the very best in underground techno, Ian’s EP will be released on April 24. 

Best known for delivering highly experimental sounds and hypnotic atmospheres with a uniquely underground treatment, Black Codes represents a beacon of consistency and musical innovation as it continues to earn widespread international support from a growing legion of dedicated fans and techno followers the world over.

Premiere: Ian Axide "Rotation" - Black Codes Experiments

Missing partying a lot, @fluid_music oriented the podcast for the dancefloor and wanted to re-create the atmosphere of a rave. Fluid built up with deep, minimalistic and instrumental techno to take you to a darker place with some powerful industrial techno, ending on a lighter note with a trance closing.
Fluid is a trans non-binary dj based in berlin. They support the project 100% as flint* producers are still underrepresented. They valued a lot this experience of digging tracks from flint* producers only and will now pay more attention whom tracks they are buying from.
