With Spectral Passage, rhubiqs delivers a deeply immersive concept album that traces a psychological journey from turmoil to clarity. Inspired by artists like Tim Hecker, Fennesz, Sarah Davachi and William Basinski, the record layers guitars, synths, pianos, samples, field recordings, strings and brass into shifting soundscapes that mirror the mind’s passage through anxiety, trauma and renewal.

Opening with dense, disorienting textures (Infinite Dusk, Endless Nights), the album gradually evolves toward light and release. A turning point comes with Alone & Adrift Pt. I and Pt. II, where shadow gives way to brightness and resilience. The closing track, A Final Transmission, offers a gentle resolution, leaving the listener in a place of hard-won peace.

More than a collection of songs, Spectral Passage is an emotional narrative in sound - a transformative listening experience.

In a world where noise imposes itself as a constant, I transform sound into a refuge—a path to find balance amid the relentless and demanding motion. Since 2019, I have explored sound as both a language and a space where forces converge, seeking to become a channel of connection between the inner and the collective. In my sonic exploration, I dive into the rawest textures—the tribal and the primitive—into repetition as a sequence that transports us to altered states of consciousness. For me, the dancefloor is not just a place of escape, but a living organism where every element plays its role: the dancers, the organizers, the music creators—all part of the same mechanism. Nothing exists in isolation; everything is part of a circuit where vibrations move, transform, and return amplified. Each encounter becomes an exchange that expands my vision and nourishes my purpose.

10 years of KONFLKT – time to celebrate.

We started the label in 2015 as a home for our own productions and for tracks from artists and friends we appreciate. From the beginning, the goal was simple: to release music we’d want to hear ourselves on the dancefloor – the kind that makes us pull off strange, unrhythmic dance moves. For their tenth VA, Art Bei Ton presents “Some Casual Vortex”, a release that emphasizes cerebral textures, intricate sound design, and a diverse lineup of talented artists from across the globe. 

The journey begins with an atmospheric, cinematic piece by Synthbiont & Anassimandrus, titled “Inner Resonance”. Its rich bass line gently lowers the listener into a state of contemplation, setting the tone for the experience that follows.

“Dark Matter” from the Spanish producer Costélus explores broken beat structures interwoven with luminous harmonic layers, resulting in a mesmerizing, dreamlike composition.

Peruvian producer Andrea Zapata’s “Hypnosis” lives up to its name, her subtle yet captivating rhythmic pulses that draw you in completely and leave you entranced within moments.

Shanghai-based Lina K delivers “Deep Minds”, a commanding dancefloor piece defined by her driving low end and powerful bass line.

After the spell comes the ritual. French producer Armando_360's “Aery Strom” transcends listeners to a mythical realm through its polymetric energy, explosive rhythmic signature, and swelling atmosphere.

The descent continues with “Psychic Overload” by Portuguese producer Circuit V, a psychedelic half-time journey that gradually transforms into a propulsive, floor-focused rhythm.

Haber, hailing from Australia, contributes “One Way To Norway”, a piece built on a distorted bass groove and organic percussive textures that whirl you into a heady, kinetic motion.

Closing the compilation, “Gecko Got Psybogged” from Malaysian producer Gan D drags you back into the vortex with her murky, swirling layers and unrelenting low end, a fitting conclusion to this immersive exploration.

Saphileaum (Andro Gogibedashvili) is the new face of Diffuse Reality, the Georgian producer debuts on the Spanish-Argentine label with an extensive release in which the author himself provides 7 original tracks, and DJ Sodeyama and Filip Xavi finish off this great work with two excellent adaptations.

In Industrial Complexx we are pleased to share with all of you the version of the Japanese artist. Both he and Filip Xavi remix 'Garden of Prophecy'.

Slow and torturing, fuelled by the intense and dark vocals, that slowly initiate the listener to a bizarre and unpredictable ceremony, where anything is possible. "Giliau ne garsas" is an incantation, a lithuanian spell that takes us deep into the world of a desired madness, in which you enter but you cannot escape.

Slow, persistent kicks marking a powerful territory, ready to receive the "EBM" storm of distortion and synths, falling from the sky like a heavy rain; a perfect intro of an EP that will enrich our collection as well as our psyche. Jauzas The Shining stars in the new release of Diffuse Reality with a solo album in which the French producer exposes his particular vision of electro, a style that is beginning to have more and more weight in the Spanish-Argentinean label, and that adds to the growing progression and evolution of the platform in which it includes a more extensive range of genres that covers much more than the aggressive sound that so represented this project in its first stage.

Jauzas The Shining recently collaborated on Diffuse Reality with a remix of one of the tracks from Meltphace's album. Now, it is the Frenchman who takes the lead role with a reference that includes 5 original tracks and 3 different remixes of Synthèse by Daniele Paduano, Lenson & FSQ.

From Industrial Complexx we give you a preview of one of these versions, you can already listen to the whole track that closes this album.
