Gladstone Deluxe is one of the most exciting musicians in the US right now. They make futuristic, deep, percussive yet smooth techno, deep house and electro. They also play timbales in NYC queer and trans salsa band Las Mariquitas, and are a frequent collaborator with fellow East Coast sonic trailblazers Kiernan Laveaux, Johnny Zoloft, and Mira Mira. They have released on Black Techno Matters, Data Disk, Misc, Innocent Music, How Things Are Made, and now Fixed Rhythms is excited to add to the Gladstone lore with their new offering, “No Haterade EP”.

A1 “Cleanse” is zippy tech-y house…think groovy, up-beat, sexy, like something you’d hear in a Titonton Duvante set. A2 is a remix, “Teakup - Where’s My Snare (Gladstone Deluxe Remix)”. Now the EP takes a turn towards psychedelic electro. Spacey trippy vocal manipulations, swelling deep space gravitational waves swelling and resolving. The B side opens with the “No Haterade” track. Arpeggiated electro that slaps with swagger. The final track is a longer, 9 minute driving deep housey techno tune. A bass line that you never want to stop, luscious pads, brain-tingling pings, melodic percussive synth runs, and a touch of acid.

SameSame is back with the second release of the Exclusive Series.
Two tracks that leave nothing to be desired.
In typical SameSame fashion, the A-side is a classic dancefloor track. Minimalist drums and a sophisticated bassline paired with pad-heavy synthesizer sounds create the vibe.
If you're into breakbeat, you can't ignore the B-side. The arrangement clearly invites you to dance. 909-heavy hi-hats and an energetic bass speak their own language.

New year for the Birdcast begins with none other than Roman Sputnik one of the three tigers of Digital Tsunami. There's not a lot to say about Roman because basically he's one of the greatest DJs and selectors out there that I've had the luck to get to know and enjoy his mixing both from distance and in real life: besides of being the technical head of Digital Tsunami, he's also a resident in their parties, half of the sometimes emerging from the obscurities duo Glark n Glark and "associate professor of partying in general" (that being prooved many times too).

This mix is a smooth and eclectic trip through slower grooves and hyper ambiences, goofy oldies from approximately the 80s and crisp gems from more recent times as well as some unreleased ones. If you want to touch the sky - just put a window in ya eye!

Tracks included in DJ Stingray's recent BBC Radio 1 Essential mix, and featured in Dave Clarke's Boiler Room set in Paris.

Their latest EP "Necrophilia" was released February 2019 on Bass Agenda. 
The pair are currently working on their live show and preparing for new releases.

Less than one year after his 2019 release entitled ‘Trans Asia Express’, DVS NME returns with a collection of original tracks that were produced between 2018-2020. This 30-track album is a not-so-subtle nod to the Electro inspirations that have helped to influence the DVS NME sound that has developed over the course of the last 20 years. The most obvious influence is that of Detroit pioneers Drexciya and subsequent projects by Gerald Donald. The album pays homage to Dopplereffekt’s 1999 album ‘Gesamtkunstwerk’ in both its title and cover art. The release ranges from brooding, downtempo machine funk all the way to dancefloor-oriented melodic Electro. The album relies heavily on the sounds of classic Electro machines like Mono/Poly, MS-20, SH-101, Jupiter-8, Juno-106, JX-3P, TB-303, Polysix, TR-606, OB-8, TR-808, ARP Odyssey, and TR-909. DVS NME is the man behind the weekly radio show/daily blog called 'Dark Science Electro' and has been a dedicated contributor for the Electro community for the last 10 years. He shares his love of Electro music by posting Electro-affiliated news, art, mixes, albums, memes, concerts, tracks, gear and more. After 20 years dedicated to electronic music, Balza has gone through different stages, groups, radio, residencies, club management and event programming. Since 2015, he has directed the weekly radio program Haus Of Beats, in Txapa Irratia (Bergara). This radio in 2019, began the musical label adventure.
He also co-directs the BET festival (Bergarako Elektronika Topaketa), which this 2020 was to celebrate its sixth edition.
Since 2020, it has been part of the booking at the Forbidden Colors agency.
