Simas Petkevičius aka SMPL SMPL is from Vilnius, Lithuania. A young artist schooled to master saxophone according to strict classical education by globally renowned lecturers has already proven his skills in numerous competitions although the discovery of a passion for electronic music production now seems to have taken over a large part of his life.
As his curiosity for music began to grow beyond classical arrangements he followed his journey through different genres. Avant-garde, Jazz as well as Contemporary Classical music have made a big influence, while electronic music culture is what fuels the inspiration.
Characterized by free-form improvisation, sound experiments, and the integration of acoustic instrument timbres into dance music genres.

Recorded from the very beautiful and snowy Lekwungen Territory, My NYE show is a tiny snippet of some of my favourite tracks released in 2021, of which there was an immense list to choose from. Swedish producer based in Gothenburg. This Swedish entity contributed to live, real and in circumstantial surroundings. Mr. Eargoggle has a huge impact on the electro scene. Grown up listening to the electro funk sound of Egyptian Lover and similar funkateers, Luke Eargoggle, aka Lukas Pettersson, now lives by the beach in Sweden where he makes music in peace. Luke maintains the record label Stilleben Records and released some of his ultra funky electro tracks through Dutch label Bunker Records, German label Kommando 6 and more.
Especially for our podcast, Luke recorded an exclusively vinyl set.

This is one of my personal favorite tracks of his. Particularly when the strings come in. Sonic gold.

GAMADON (aka GAvin MAc DONagh) started buying records and DJing in Dublin in 1996. He is a vinyl only DJ and record collector - Irish, currently based in London.

• He runs the Warehouse Manifesto label, with the first vinyl release out in earlier this year. A limited edition picture disc featuring electro tracks released in digital format only previously on Bass Agenda Recordings.

• He curates the Warehouse Manifesto mix series which he started in 2021. Some of his guests to date include Umwelt, Ben Sims, Claude Young, Joey Beltram, Jensen Interceptor, Sync 24 and Alienata.

• Most notably, he supported The Prodigy, on their European tour in cities such as Berlin, Hanover, Prague and Luxembourg in 2015-2016.

• Gamadon has previously had his mixes published by labels such as Bass Agenda, Dark Science Electro, Archaic, Gated, Gladio Operations, Nocta Numerica, Vortex Tracks, Distrito 91, Masa Series, Lepton, Hilltown Disco, Digital Distortions, Glory Berlin, Noise To Meet You and Elektrodos.
