Currently training in sound therapy, Plena believes that music has the power to create space for transcendental moments both on and off of the dancefloor. Sound is sacred and it can communicate in otherwordly ways. She wanted to create a mix that reflects this, from darker soundscapes and ominous beats weaving through into more optimistic moments.  
 
Plena’s mix combines Acid Basslines, Broken Beats, and dreamlike Synths, taking you on a sonic journey that cultivates a spirit of reverence for those that have inspired her.

Here is the Tracklistings Yearmix 2023 by Sic Electronica, Cologne based DJ and co-founder of the artist collective and agency "District - connecting arts" ( #districtconnectingarts).
2023 has brought forth an immense number of great tracks, not only from the „usual suspects“ but also from numerous less known but talented artists. Therefore, Sic Electronica aims not only to create a straightforward sequence of „typical bangers" but also to shine a spotlight on less-known artists and labels, providing them with some attention and support for their work.

These are ominous words for a world in violence. 

I first heard this track on Superstar Dj Keoki's (@that-fucker-dj-keoki) mix for Journey by DJs in 1994. I can't tell you how many times I rocked this CD, and still do to this day, because it might be one of my favorite mixes. I take the same acapella he plays over Omycron's "Whaler" as a homage to his iconic trance mix.
