Kimia N. aka ALCHEMY is a Persian artist born in the early 2000s in Tehran, Iran. She discovered her passion for music in 2013 and started playing individual instruments along with concerting solo groups and collaborating with bands. After a few years, she found her way into the underground scene of electronic music in Tehran. Inspired by this newfound passion, she began experimenting with electronic beats. Her distinctive sound soon caught the attention of both local and international audiences and with each release her popularity grows.

Kimia's journey as a cross-genre musician has been an exciting one. While she has dipped into various genres, her current fascination is within the realm of hardstyle music. The intense beats have been pushing her creative boundaries to new heights. She has found her niche in Schranz, a subgenre known for it relentless energy. Her unique style sets her apart from others in the scene. The harsh abrasive machine-like sounds create an atmosphere that is dark and unpredictable, leaving audience into euphoria. What truly sets Kimia apart is her ability to infuse an industrial twist into her music. The incorporation of these genres adds an extra layer of intensity and raw energy to her captivating sound.

During this time, she has spent more of her time DJing in private underground gigs, recording sets and recently she is learning how to produce electronic music. With each passing day, her passion grows stronger, fueling her desire to become a professional in the industry. As she delves deeper, she discovers new techniques and styles that inspire her creativity.
She spends countless hours perfecting her mixing skills. The underground gigs provide her with a platform to showcase her talent and connect with like-minded individuals who appreciate her unique approach to music.

CSQ: Tell us a bit about your local techno scene. How has it shaped you as an artist?

NEW HEDONISM: The local scene is way too "bright" as it is everywhere else, I guess. I used to party in raves and clubs; now I'm looking for a limited quantity of people parties where there are only a few lights and no fame. On the other side, there are absolutely great parties on the German side of Switzerland, and I think we need to learn about the theme here in Geneva. I want to contribute (on my own and with DERESTRICT) to develop this dark, illegal, and sweaty vibe here.

CSQ: Would you like to share anything with the listeners about the set?

NEW HEDONISM: No need to mention anything except it's raw, aggressive and melancholic.

CSQ: How does the set reflect the development of your style and your DJing since you started?

NEW HEDONISM: People can clearly notice the path I have taken for almost two years now. I love it fast, Industrial & reaaaally energic. A lot of inspiration from the Eastern European scene.

Crescendo na Alemanha, sua seleção é definida pelos sons de lá, com ênfase no lado mais forte e agressivo da música eletrônica, principalmente Schranz. Ele consegue combinar esse som agressivo com os lados mais melódicos do Hardtechno.

Atualmente toca em clubes locais na Polônia, onde começou a interessar-se por ser DJ em meados de 2023.

TytuZ is an 23 year old producer and DJ from Wrocław, Poland.
Growing up in Germany, his selection is defined by the sounds there, with an emphasis on the stronger and more aggressive side of electronic music, mainly Schranz. However, he manages to combine this aggressive sound with the more melodic sides of Hardtechno.

He is currently playing in local clubs in Poland, where he began to take an interest in DJing in mid-2023.
