Harpoon - demo

It's a soft rock love ballad with lots of soothing Hawaiian sounds from Oahu Island for your ultimate relaxation experience. 

*Hawaiian sea wave sound is sound designed with Sprite in a champagne glass for a fizzy sound with a rotary effect, completed with total fader-automations, and composed to replace the cymbals. A sprite sample follows the waves and swirls throughout the song.

*There's a glassy patch with a cross delay is sound designed for a transparent feel on the choruses. All the samples are made in NN-XT.

* A Polynesian shark drum "F'atete" made of shark leather and bamboo is used to for a rich warm tone, replacing the conventional rack toms with metal frames. I got rid of stressful metallic sound as much as possible for your ultimate soothing experience. 

* 2 bass guitars are used to play unison in 2 separate tracks. 1 is am Ibanez bass for a fast attack time, and another is Fender Jazz Bass for a rich bottom sound.

* It was a challenge, but string sections are mixed in louder than normal pop songs to give you a rich, realistic, and emotional orchestrations.
