Locked Up in the Tower [XVI]

I started this one a long time ago, with tools I barely use these days: Ocet, ERS Drums. So I went back and added sounds from my newly acquired Minilogue, the good old Valhalla Echo, and my dishwasher as a surprise guest.

I used DJ Bobby Who11's "Regret" because it was very moving. I built around that and added the "Sad Piano" by youngbeatss. Links are below. 

I typically don't keep the same tempo because I need them to fit my project, so it's interesting to compare: my track runs at 80bpm. 

Among the updates to the 2022 versnon: simplified the intro! Much smoother now. Also dropped the drums that were distracting in most places. And added a few new sounds from my Minilogue, with the help of the new Ekoverb pedal I just got.

I started with a vocal piece by Endless Cigarette (link below) and added each piece little by little. Lyrics came to me in French to describe a long journey that is maybe not so far from complete.
