Here I talk with Zach Bush, MD, a doctor with a background in endocrinology who "went holistic" and turned toward gut/brain health, the microbiome, and soil science. Our conversation covered a lot of ground: evolution, the importance of biological diversity for personal, social, and ecological health, the inventive fecundity of life, the role of viruses in sharing genetic information, and more. I expect this conversation will help expand people's horizons in trying to understand health and sickness in the Covid era.

Dr. Zach Bush: Life is a Community (E49)

This is a brief introduction to the nature of the core embodiment practices that I have created and teach. This recording is a simple practice to directly experience and reconnect with one of the most core movement motifs of nature. What is called, ‘the gel-sol phase shift’ which exemplifies this same inborn capacity within our nature. The very movement that allows a cell to breathe and be permeable to exchange information with other cells is a microcosm of the same movement that forms an embryo into being. The same movement that is expanding and contracting your lungs is also informing this evolving universe. When we reenact these primary movements of breath, we re-join the bio-field and express greater balance in our human experience.
