Gunnar B. Høgstmyr er en norsk forfatter og vokalist i black metal-bandet Maskinskog. Hen debuterte med den dystopiske boken Gi meg et sverd på Gyldendal forlag 2011. Hen publiserte romanen Hermanubistan på forlaget Stålen Musikk & Event i 2021.

Butler se preocupa por un hecho central de nuestra vidas, la dominación. Butler entiende esta como sujecion al poder como mecanismo de “control” pero también como forma de “subjetivación” donde, en término de Butler: el reglamento labra al sujeto pero también lo subjetiva.

En estos procesos de dominación es donde se articulan también la vulnerabilidad, la precariedad, el estar fuera del marco. Desde ahí, con la conformación de los sujetos políticos y sus comunidades en el centro, arraigada en los marcos de lo abyecto, se pregunta por una segunda cuestión: el desierto que parecen habitar los cuerpos desposeídos.

Pensar la vidas que no son lloradas, una sentencia de Butler que la ponente de esta sesión Carolina Meloni transforma en lucha política “la resignificación de la vida sin duelo, del resto y del muerto no reconocido, así como su consecuente reincorporación al universo de la identidad, la
comunidad y el espacio público suponen una exigencia ético-política inexcusable.”

Pero ¿cómo producir esa reincorporación?¿En torno a qué parámetros? En este punto Butler propone recuperar y politizar la melancolía. A partir de sus indagaciones sobre el duelo y el dolor, de la melancolía como revuelta pública de los mismos, Butler propone construir también la acción política.

Chef anticonformiste et généreux des pages musiques du quotidien, alors en plein âge d’or, l’homme sans prénom offre à Libé son record absolu des ventes en 1991 (800 000 ex.) grâce à une interview "post-mortem" de Serge Gainsbourg, qui deviendra le livre "Gainsbourg raconte sa mort" (Grasset, 2001).
Adoré ou détesté, ce moine-soldat de la critique, dont la minutie confine à l’entomologie, est aussi l’auteur méconnu d’une œuvre autobiographique intense, sans succès durable et pourtant inoubliable. À lire, outre les ouvrages mentionnés dans ces trois épisodes ("Mezzanine", "Les Animals"), le sidérant "Haut fonctionnaire" (Grasset, 1993), un « mémoire hanté » sur son père diplomate.

Bah voyons : voici Bayon. Personne n’écrit comme ça, aujourd’hui en France : préciosité « fin de siècle » des termes et des sentiments, longues phrases savamment architecturées ou, au contraire, sèches et méchantes comme un coup de trique. Par goût (coupable) de la formule, disons qu’il s’agit d’un petit Proust qui aurait beaucoup écouté The Cure ou le punk spirite des bien-nommés Suicide. Le tout, pour servir une exigence morale de vieux sage « au bord du précipice » et dont l’élégance noire a nourri sur trois décennies une dizaine d’ouvrages-confessions, souvent fondés sur des expériences traumatiques : mort d’un petit frère sous ses yeux, coma et trépanation suite à un accident de moto, rupture familiale, dépression aiguë, crâne fracturé après une chute à vélo, « ictus » amnésique.
Pour comprendre, il faut remonter la piste de l’initial B. B. jusqu’aux origines de sa recherche du temps perdu. S’enfoncer dans la jungle du jeune Bruno. Dans ce premier épisode, Bayon retire son bâillon et parle Côte d’Ivoire, Togo, Gabon – où il étudie Kafka tout en exerçant, l’été, un job d’inspecteur forestier. Avant Paris, où ce « Rimbaud de pochette-surprise » compose « debout, empoisonné de migraines, de café et bière, en une dizaine de jours » un premier roman maudit intitulé « Retour d’enfer », dont la publication lui fait honte et qui ressortira en version expurgée sous le titre « Le Lycéen » (Quai Voltaire, 1988). She worries about semiconductors and the world economy breaking into different pieces. Pax Americana can't last forever and several countries are now getting together to take care of themselves. She has a hard time finding electricity sustainable, let alone cryptocurrencies. She doesn't think far-flung wars are sustainable. Things are good as they're going to be.

About Gail Tverberg
The author of Our Finite World is Gail Tverberg. She is a researcher focused on figuring out how energy limits and the economy are really interconnected, and what this means for our future. Her background is as a casualty actuary, working in insurance forecasting.

In March 2007, Gail decided to research the issue of limits of a finite world on a full-time basis, leaving her career in insurance consulting. She began OurFiniteWorld.com in 2007, but temporarily changed her writing base to TheOilDrum.com between mid-2007 and 2010, where she was a writer and editor. Since late 2010, her blog posts have been published on OurFiniteWorld.com. These posts are widely republished under Gail’s Creative Commons license; many posts are translated into other languages and republished.

Besides blog posts, Gail is the author of a number of academic papers. 

Gail also speaks to many groups regarding her views on energy limits and the economy. She has spoken in many countries around the world, including Italy, Spain, China, and India. She has spoken to academic groups, actuarial groups, “Peak Oil” groups, and more general groups, such as religious groups and graduate students. In early 2015, she taught a course at China University of Petroleum in Beijing on “Energy and the Economy.” In 2017, she was one of the invited speakers at a European Commission workshop relating to “New Narratives of Energy and the Economy” in Brussels. 

Gail’s work is different from that of other researchers in that she does not take widely-accepted views as a “given.” Instead she tries to figure out for herself precisely what is happening by looking at a wide range of data and literature, and by investigating leads offered by other researchers and by commenters on OurFiniteWorld.com. In a sense, her wide-ranging view is only possible because of the miracles of the internet and of second-hand books available through Amazon.

One key to Gail’s independence is the fact that she does not take donations or accept advertising on her website. Another key to her independence is the fact that she is not part of the university system, and thus is not subject to the demands of “publish or perish.” Being separate from the university system also allows her to take a broader view of the subject, because “academic silos” are no longer a problem.

La introducción a nuestro curso partirá de la experiencia y la lucha del movimiento obrero y su relación con las luchas feministas a principios del siglo XX. También a través de Rosa Luxemburgo podremos debatir en torno al arte de la política y la organización de los movimientos de lucha.
