A track that has been in the vault for a good while, composed this probably 3-4 years ago and only now it's actually got finished lol. I've been tinkering around with the arrangement for a while and changing bits here and there. 

A massive thanks to Carson who recorded the electrifying guitar lead for this track, which really brings out the vibe we was looking for. Also thanks to Leo for writing some additional parts to this, this was one big collab really.

This has a nod to 'Tears For Fears' in the sound but I wanted this to have that 'Lone guy driving on Route 66 with wide panning shots, in his no roof low rider as he drives to the city to do whatever 80's protagonists do' kind of vibe too. Like action movie but it's the montage part or something. Or even a chase sequence in an old anime, who knows.

Nite Rider ft. Carson

So the story behind this composition is that the main motif of this was written by the client who sent it in MIDI form. This was to be the title theme for a story he wrote.

It was very skeletal and probably only has the main melody and some harmonies in MIDI piano form. I was then instructed to take that melody and build around it to create somewhat of Gerry Anderson show like piece with a decent layer of synth patches.

I took inspiration from my old 'Galactic Voyage' piece with the space SFX and overall feel, it's like this could be a battle theme for a show with that as the theme.

Interstellar Odyssey

So the story behind this one is that I wanted to create an upbeat 80's sitcom theme that gave the impression it was show centered around a family or maybe in a middle school. 
All those recent 80s AI pictures really gave the inspiration to do something like that.

This is the famous 'Fireflash Landing' Theme originally composed by Barry Gray recreated in the style of the original Runaway Theme from Thomas.
I must say, this was a challenging one. I'm not used to orchestral yet but this reminds me I should really revise and tackle that stuff more.

One of the other great jazz pieces from A Grand Day Out, really love the chords in this one! I chose the DX7 brass again as it is one of my favourite sounds tbh. Absolutely love the quaintness it brings to these retro styled tracks.

This was heavily inspired by the original Japanese score for Dragon Ball Z by Shunsuke Kikuchi. Tried to go for acoustic/ synth blend he'd often do for those scores. Easily one of my favorites to compose.

This time, i didn't do the instrumental here. (Though I partially wish I did but eh, too much effort) so I just ripped the one from YouTube and pitched it down to fit my range. I love this song though, one of my all favorite classics so I've decided to sing a cover of it.

An RPG Village kind of theme but composed in a way as if it was a 'remaster' of the track using synths instead of chiptune instruments. A lot of DX7 in here, very handy for leads and stuff.

Stargazing

Commissioned by Suddery Station Master for his adaptation of 'Stop Thief', a RWS only story.

I wanted to create a new piece of chase music, something reminiscent of the Percy & Harold one to some degree but wanted some elements of the Runaway Theme because I was getting 'The Runaway' vibes from watching the video while scoring it.
