Similarly to the previous audiobook I had written, this was an attempt at bringing closure on an aspect of James's character that hadn't been entirely rounded off in the books - although episodes of the Brenner had touched upon it; the inclusion of Edward and Diesel was intended to show James as being the middle ground between the two, while also reaching a point of maturity - wherein he begins to think for himself.....
