Kuba - Analogue Sympathy

This episode of the the Mindspring Selection Series features The Flying Mars that brings new remixes from Klaada, Hibernation/Kaya Project and Pangani blended with tunes from his second album “Cosmochemistry”. Mario combines Psy-Dub, Ambient, Psy-Chill, as well as Drum & Bass and Psy-Trance with flowing rhythms and deep bass lines. Unusual and alternative sounds, experimentation in rhythm, and melodic alterations: all of this is The Flying Mars project. Mario Engel, hailing from the green valleys in the middle of the Swiss Alps, was always in contact with different genres and had a good ear for many kinds of music. With his project he wants to channel all of his auditory and composing experiences into a mind-bending mix of creativity, giving his contribution to the already variegated world of electronic music.

Trala Lama, a veteran of the global chillout music scene is presently incarnated in The Netherlands. His love for outdoor parties and festivals is strongly influenced by an experience in his childhood. At the age of seven, he was forced to attend the local music school on Wednesday afternoons, but after three Wednesdays of crying out loud, his parents decided it was better for him to quit the music school and play outside once again. This experience left a lasting impact on him, shaping his musical journey and inspiring his dedication to the outdoor party scene so he decided to be a dj. With a deep understanding of the power of other peoples music and a wealth of experience what not to play at a certain moment his sets are defined by intricate beats, psybientish soundscapes and weird or organic psycho-ethnic textures. Trala Lama continues to inspire and push the boundaries of what is possible in the ever-changing musical landscape on the road to Lamastan
