Berlin based DJ and producer Michael Lane lands on Polari imprint with an energetic debut three-track EP entitled Leeloo.

Michael on the production process; "I love trying to find the sweet spot between fun and emotional, where you start clicking your fan then get swept up into something deeper. For this EP I relied on old favourites like cowbells, congas and squelchy bass as a foundation, then brought in sounds like Vangelis' CS-80, Prophet brass, and Mellotron choir to elevate things. I hope they hit that sweet spot and can be a tool to help transition a dancefloor from one feeling to another. I've been a big fan of Cormac for a long while, so it's an honour and an utter delight to be releasing these on Polari."


Cormac continues on Lane‘s release; I met Michael some time ago at the airport. He’s been sending me edits and tracks since then, many of which have ended up in my sets.

I think this ep is a great intro of Michaels musical style and knowledge. I’m touched that his debut EP is with Polari.


Out on 3rd of May digitally, the EP embodies a signature Polari sound transcending time and space and immersing listeners into a time capsule of sweaty disco all-nighters.

Curated by the beloved-by-all Mexican duo Zombies In Miami, Creatures Of The Night is one of those labels whose output manages to be virtually impeccable. Lauer, Mahkina (FREEDL038), Mystery Affair (SXDNS202), and Shubostar (SXDNS042) are some of the highlights of its growing discography. The new addition: Schiela’s “ALL NIGHT, BABY!”, featuring remixes by none other than Benjamin Fröhlich and Known Artist, marks his very first endeavour as a producer and showcases the potential of the rising & shining Berlin-based virtuoso who has been shaking both local and international dance floors with his vibrant and upbeat sonority.

Master Fröhlich – yeah, that guy from Permanent Vacation – debuts on Zombie’s outlet with a signature interpretation of the single. On his hands, “ALL NIGHT, BABY!” jumped from 132 to 122 BPM and had its cosmic Trance aura replaced by a groovy and frolic (pun not intended) percussive layer which dressed the beautiful vocals in a gala attire ready to make an impression during the hot European summer.

Correspondant proudly presents Jordan Nocturne’s new EP, Nostalgia. Born and raised in Belfast, this DJ, label manager, producer and promoter has been an active member of the local scene since his teenage years. Still drawing from the trance classics he heard on TV as a kid, he now delivers a euphoria-inducing two-track release. Carrying high-energy realness, Nostalgia lives up to its name by paying tribute to old-school, sweaty rave nights. Eponymous track « Nostalgia » seduces with a 90’s club flavour, weaving together airy synths and percussive kicks. « Acid Rise » builds up a steady tension thanks to brazen acid lines, incisive bass and a sharp vocal sample.
