The mind behind the project Amplify is Andrew Olavarrieta, former part of the well established psychedelic trance duo known as Delysid and the more underground Wicked Wires. Since 1998 Amplify has developed his Full-On Psytrance sound to mash up dance floors around the world and has clearly demonstrated the talent for creating a distinctive shamanic style of trance music. Always being very interested in exploring the cutting edge sounds and the mind-blowing rhythms of trance Amplify has joined Antu & Maharetta Records sonic sorcerers and his productions are enchanting dance floors around the world. This mix showcases newly released music, featuring his latest release 'NorCaLSD' out now on Maharetta.

It was a fortuitous happenstance Chromatone spent nearly a year in Russia near the Stupendous Sound Source: SAMADHI. This is a live recording of a dj set I played at Psycheground, NYC's Wednesday night psytrance party which took place weekly (for several years) in the basement of a small club in the West Village - the Fat Black Pussy Cat.  The parties always had great energy and it was one of my favorite places to dj.  Thanks Luis & Dreamcatcher for an awesome party and all the good memories <3 <3 !!
