On the Way to Ozora 2022 is a series showcasing artists of OZORA 2022. Finally and again on our way to the much-awaited Ozorian reunion, this first episode featuring the artists we can expect in the Valley in 2022 presents Render. Render is the psytrance project by Ricky Casero, also known as Frequency Less (Psybreaks/ Downtempo). His unique psy style is a mix of passionate body moving fullon, wisely blended with night atmospheres and rolling bass lines. Unexpected combinations of catchy vocals and acid funky sounds make the journey super energetic and fluid for the dancer, without missing the soul and essence of the psytrance self-exploring experience. Acid Drop Anton is a Psytrance Dj who started DJing back in 1996 playing Drum and Bass as DJ Drop. He had a residency for a night called Resonance in Southampton where he had the privilege of playing before some of the Drum and Bass greats including Brian Gee, Kenny Ken, Randal and Micky Finn. Although playing Drum and Bass for many years he has always dabbled in other genres and in 2000 started to play out Acid Techno on the southwest free party scene and became known as Acid Anton. In 2003 he found Psytrance and after a visit to the Antaris Project in Germany was fully converted. He’s played along side some big names in the Psytrance scene including Eatstatic, Scorb, Mr Peculiar, Psymmetrix, Chris Rich, M Theory and many more. Acid Drop Anton is currently resident on his own night, Neurotrition, which he runs with his compadre Psy Cartel.

ACID DROP ANTON l IN FOCUS l Episode #8

1.5 ours of high-flying, full-power psychedelic tracks exploring the 147 - 150 BPM range. 

Every so often an artist will release a full-length album of such perfection that I have to fight myself internally to not use every single track on the album in my DJ sets. 

Recently one of my all-time favourites - Radikal Moodz(Looney Moon Records) - has just released such an album. I managed to confine myself to only 4 tracks from their masterpiece album ‘Initial Dreamers’ to serve as the ‘peak’ of this month’s set.

The second honorable mention goes to a more recent discovery of mine from Blacklite Records, Gigi. Gigi has been around for a while but only appeared on my radar by the end of 2021. This set also includes the most recent EP by Gigi - Naughty Shanti - which is made up of 4 incredible collaborations.

June features releases from Protoned Music, Sangoma Records, Looney Moon Records, Sonitum Records, Blacklite records, and Future Music records. 

All tracks in the set were purchased on Bandcamp/Beatport and the artists supported.

DJ Chinx - Road to Goa [Trancentral Mix 115]

This Looney Moon episode features a live set from JUMPSTREET that contains all the tracks from the new Jumpstreet album "Gourmet Noise". Jumpstreet is the psytrance project from Swiss producer Raffael Willi. Growing up playing musical instruments and composing tracks at an early age he finally found his way to electronic music production with no limits to creative musical expression. In 2015 he joined the Italian label Looney Moon Records and further progressed his unique style with releases like Low Extender EP and Buffer Boogie EP. His music is rich in variety of sound design while always keeping a funky vibe that keeps the dancefloor moving.
