    Even in the hardest times we can find light.
    Even in your worst moments you can find brightness.

     This is the message I wanted to bring with  this new mix.
     Speaking as a goa dj I can feel like an 'alien' at the psychedelic scene.We are very few where I live.
     But there's something which makes me keep going without knowing the destination ...like an outer space 
     exploration.
     The cause is simple: Goa Trance and its infinite possibilities.
     It's hard to assimilate...it's too much psychedelic...sometimes chaotic but for those who 
     can feel the energy ...there's nothing better!
     My last year playing as Giilgämesh is the proof that we can make it        happen...not for success,fame or status
     but for the only main reason: to get out the orbit!!

This is a live recording of PSY MAIIA at Free Earth Festival: "I had the privilege to play after the legendary Infected Mushroom at the main stage of Free Earth Festival this year. That was a challenge, also because the block of Sangoma Records artists was starting after me with Render and Fungus Funk, so I had to play a bridge between unique shrooms style and night psychedelic. Challenge accepted and it was fun. Also tested my new Psy Maiia track on the dancefloor at mind-blowing sound system. So grateful for this opportunity!" Psy Maiia is a captivating night psytrance project by Alla Vagner, an accomplished musician also known for her chillout project, Maiia. With over 15 years in the music industry, Alla has established herself as a seasoned explorer, releasing numerous albums, EPs, and compilations.  Currently, she is focused on shaping her unique sound in the modern night psy genre. Her Psy Maiia sets lead the dance floor on an otherworldly journey of collective meditation, creating a surreal, psychedelic atmosphere that opens portals to uncharted dimensions.

The trio behind our party of the year discuss creating space for the FLINTA community, their most outrageous live performances and more.

Resident Advisor is wrapping up the year, and alongside our best-of-2024 records and tracks lists comes our favourite party: Barcelona-based platform MARICAS. The self-described "loving and pervy LGBTQIA+ techno collective" started in 2018 when ISAbella, Eloisa Blitzer and graphic designer Gina Guasch decided it was time to create a fun space for queer women and nonbinary people in their city. Since then, MARICAS has become a celebrated international series, revealing in its ascent how much of the techno scene—even in its queerest corners—continues to cater to men.

In this RA Exchange, the trio talk about their humble origins as well as the ongoing obstacles they face in promoting the party in the face of discrimination. Performance plays an important role in their events, and they take an entertaining trip down memory lane, discussing some of the most outlandish theatrics and installations that have made it onto their dance floors: a Catholic confessional booth where the priest gave kisses, a livestreamed toilet stall where people undressed in front of the camera and a make-out session from figures covered in paint. Underneath the showmanship, however, is an unwritten code of respect and acceptance that extends far beyond the rave—their mission is to transform the social taboo surrounding difference into a positive force in our world. Dr. Space is considered one of the pioneers of the underground Hungarian scene. Having aided in the establishment of RadiOzora and Forestdelic Records, he also co-launched "Labirhythm", a Hungarian Psytrance party line, and a collaboration compilation with Sangoma Records and Forestdelic Records.
This Ozora we had a chance to boogie to his set which totally did it for us. Real brain massage full of quirky sounds and mind games. So we asked him to do a mix for us. Enjoy!
