After a brief hiatus, the EARFUL OF mix series is back with only the 2nd contribution of the year and the 30th in the series. For this installment we have an all vinyl 90mins from the talented DJ/Producer and artist Jake Walker.

The Kindred Radio affiliate has put together a journey through some of his record collection. Rolling 4/4 forms the base layer here as he weaves through acid, prog and techno for one of our favourites yet.

Skins continues forging his own path with a new label celebrating the uplifting and futuristic sounds of jungle, with a four-tracker featuring tracks with early support from Katiusha, Tañ and Frazer Ray.

Whilst some will know Skins from his days DJing regularly around Oxford, his run of self-released white label techno EPs or last year’s underground hit 24 Hour Dub, more recently he has turned his attention back to the music which made him fall in love with it all in the first place:

“I vividly remember the effect that the futuristic sounds of 90s jungle and drum ‘n’ bass had on me as a kid, hearing snippets of tracks in video games and later stumbling across artists like Alaska, Future Engineers, Seba, Peshay and LTJ Bukem. After years engrossing myself in the cavernous spaces of dub techno, this record feels like a return to my roots, bringing my style into a new arena which still feels like home. The label will serve as an outlet for this and future collaborations with like-minded producers.” - Skins

Live From Bedroom Vol. 1

Klasse Wrecks & Kid Who launch .NFO, a series of records showcasing previously unreleased house, techno, acid and more from the 90s Amiga Demoscene.

Created using early sample sequencers such as ProTracker, these tracks radiate the authentic energy of techno’s golden era - and they’ve been hiding in plain sight in Demoscene web repositories for many years. It was during the long days of the 2020 lockdowns that Kid Who began to explore these archives, sifting through thousands of tracks to eventually amass a collection of several hundred of his favourites. Curated by Klasse Wrecks and Kid Who in close collaboration with the talented artists behind them, the .NFO project aims to bring some of these finds to the broader dance music community via a series of VA 12”s and mixes.
