Captain Zixel, finally recovered from the insanity of the questionable food rations, has discovered that somehow the super-sentient fungal spores have used his brain as a sort of space-time warp instrument and relocated him and the entire ship to some unknown place and time. The captain must now suss out this new predicament and this new home. Well, at least he was saved from drifting into a derelict ghost ship and turning the Ormen Lange into a gravestone in space. Feeling much better, the captain takes stock of his situation and despite being lost, embraces that sense of contentment and meaning that every true ship captain has always known: “have a ship and the sea and you are always home.”
