Transfixion Recordings first burst onto the scene back in December 2010 when good friends Zac Steele, Chris Parr (Chris Xofurmik) and Mark Dronfield (Dj Dronatron) decided to start a new production label together. Initially Zac's idea, the first person to join the then nameless crew was Chris. The two had been close friends for years so naturally as soon as Zac mentioned the idea to Chris he was instantly on board recommending they use the name 'Transfixion Recordings' or 'TFIX' for short, thus Transfixion was born. Very soon after (before any releases) Mark, who had previously been active on Zac's former label 'Sketchy Records' was drafted in to continue being a part of the team as well. Over the next 2 years the label released over 20 tracks, lots of which becoming big hits on the free party scene, helping the label as well as Zac, Chris and Mark to gain a strong following. Since 2010 more people have come to be involved with Transfixion known collectively as the 'TFIX Family'. This includes close friends Josh Clough 'Dj Fluff', Shaun Gallagher and Josh Flood 'Dj Daihatsu'. Look out for new releases very soon!
