Nacido en 1995 en Vilalba (Galicia), Diego Amido aka Oxygeno es un joven artista emergente de la escena techno española.

A través del nombre Oxygeno, salen a la luz diferentes estados de ánimo, sensaciones y experiencias que se esconden tras él. Como resultado, su música está llena de texturas, con ritmos hipnóticos que envían las mentes a viajes interminables.

Sus sets se caracterizan por una mezcla de sonidos hipnóticos y un techno más crudo, groovy, directo y potente.

En cuanto a las producciones, Oxygeno ha publicado música en sellos como Axis, Soma, Mord, Edit Select o su propio Lost Verses, además de más música que llegará en un futuro próximo.
Ésta ha sido ampliamente reproducida en todo el mundo, por artistas muy respetados como DVS1, Dave Clarke, Paula Temple, Slam, Inigo Kennedy, Lewis Fautzi y muchos más

Intentional, energetic, and grounded - these are the characteristics that have been shaping Nick Moody since he first stepped into the DJ booth at the age of 11. As the kid that he was, he played at Thunderdome Radio for an audience of 30,000 people worldwide. This was followed by performances at places like Thunderdome, Mysteryland, and Studio 80. Later on, Nick became a versatile contributor to the electronic music scene. He played a significant role in Amsterdam’s Warehouse Elementenstraat movement, followed by his involvement in Reaktor and Lofi where he is active to date.
Over the years, Nick developed a profound view on techno, resulting in his debuts at Boiler Room, Unpolished, and his beloved Warehouse Elementenstraat. Today, Nick hones his craft from his studio in Berlin, translating his vision into a tribal-induced, driving sound that evokes a holistic sensation of collective involvement on the dance floor. With a personality moulded by electronic music culture since his formative years, Nick is shaping the future while respecting the past - inviting dancers on an introspective journey towards our primal roots of unity, movement, and sound. For Secret Thirteen journal we have worked on a special slowed down techno recording in the spirit of the live sets we have did for Polar Inertia’s recent exhibitions in Brussels and CCA, Tbilisi.

A couple of months ago we have changed all our gear and equipment, and collected new machines but somehow never had enough time to meet altogether and wire them. Finally, we have decided to hook up our new musical gear and equipment to improvise the future of Polar Inertia’s sound.

It was one of those studio jams you do not want to rush to. We took our time. Slowed down the tempo to 112 bpm and sent all synths through a multitrack recorder to catch every moment of the jam session. During hours of knob twisting we went through several states of mind and different styles.

What we are sharing with Secret Thirteen readers is an edited version of what happened that night.
