The second of my first two official recordings, this shamanic-flute-prayer-offering represents all the tension and excitement of change, synergy, and the dance we do with the cosmos via self, other, and nature - in a relentless and infinite expansion/contraction of life force. The theme is surrender to change, Inner Peace and/or Divine Bliss amidst chaos and turbulence. 

Our world is in the midst of the "Great Turning," shifting from a global-industrial-growth society (i.e. capitalism, globalism, neo-liberalism, corporatocracy, etc) to a Global-Life-Sustaining Society. Such a process is an initiation - a Global Initiation. The up to 5 harmonics of each Suling flute dance in the synergy of unstoppable change, transformation, and metamorphosis. May we let go of the shores of comfortability and embrace the river of change. May we dance in synergy with grace.

Bamboo is a teacher of the wisdom of patience and the importance of rooting before growing and flying. Bamboo can take 5-7 years of "rooting" itself down into the earth before it sprouts up and grows (fastest growing plant on earth - after rooting, of course ;)up to 35 inches/day. So before all you youngers get ahead of yourselves and your journey of awakening, receive the wisdom from the ancestors and from bamboo: "One Step At A Time is the only way to walk." Remember to root, build your foundation/nest, and take your time doing so, so that when you are ready, you can really grow! Just one perspective and one way to be it ...

Harmonic Initiation

The first of my first two official recordings, this etheric, shamanic-flute-prayer-offering with the Suling flute is dedicated to our Ancestors - the Ancient Ones - those who have walked on this Earth long before us and to whose ways we turn to to remember and awaken from the slumber of modern global culture. "Ancestral Awakening" also implies the energy of ancestral healing. May our awakening/healing of our ancestry manifest with ease and grace, with the help of the plants, community, and the sacred. May these awakenings help us create right relationship, as a global whole, with Pachamama, all her sacred beings, all her sacred elements, in order to walk in beauty once again, not just for ourselves, but for all the future generations to come.
