Each of the four tracks that make up his debut release on our label showcase a slightly different side of his art, commencing with the blurry, switchblades-and-circuitboards Cyberpunk gurgler that is Terra Firma, and ending four tunes later with the smacked out dissociative crescendos of Clandestine, having zigged through the celestial heights and murky depths of Bermuda, and zagged through the pummeling tour de force that is Alien Trip, and honestly, who even does that anymore? And why not? This is the real deal, kinetic, agoraphobic soul for people who have heard it all before but need beats that make them FEEL something as well as beats that make them move. What’s the point otherwise? Get up the yard, meet your Maykors.

About two years ago we started the release series "Yo Bro" together with some of our closest artists. After countless positive feedbacks and requests for participation in this project, we decided a year ago to turn the third "Yo Bro" release into our first Various Artists LP. After a year of planning and work, this centrepiece is finally complete. The compilation features artists from eight different countries and three different continents. It was important for us to create an interesting musical and human balance for this release. The "Yo Bro - LP" stands for the diversity of the dark, deep and rolling side of contemporary Drum & Bass.

@ophobot is still a rather unknown name in the Drum & Bass scene.  But you should have his name on the radar! The german artist proves this again with his song "LA Resonators". A groovy but deep Drum & Bass roller, which fits perfectly to the contemporary Drum & Bass dancefloor.

'The Yellow City' forms part of a new 2-tracker, and his debut on Dopplershift's Rubricate Records, an imprint you'll definitely be familiar with on the channel.  This is one of those tracks that doesn't boast, it doesn't waste time singing its own praises, it just provides what you really want from a pure Drum & Bass track; a monumental, darkside rollout that sprints forth in a hail of deep progression, cascading percs and beautifully evil flows.
