I actually don't particularly like this song, but my brother did and uploaded it onto Youtube a couple of years back, so it was the easiest one to recover (note: I lost all of my original files through a hard disk crash).

Probably made around 2004.

I started working on this song in 2007 or 2008. I intended it to become my "masterpiece" ... unfortunately, it's still unfinished. In fact, this isn't even the latest version. In later versions, the voice samples are adjusted in loudness so that the words are actually intellegible. Also, I changed the pitch to make it sound more "fun"... :) In this version, only part of the whole sample (which, by the way, is from a speech by Rupert Sheldrake, an English biologist with some very interesting ideas) is included. Still, I hope you like it. Don't know if I'll ever get to make a "real" track out of it, as all the source files and samples are lost, but if you like it, I might try... Okay, enough said ... let the music speak for itself...

Alnitak - The Sun is Alive (2009)

Music is my passion (or, more exactly, one of my passions...)

I started making my own electronic music in 2001, using the software Jeskola Buzz.

Around 2010, I lost all my source files and samples due to a hard disk crash ... yeah, it's pity...

The songs I put up here are recovered from some of the CDs I burned and gave away to friends...

I am planning to take up music production again some time, but unfortunately I am lacking the time right now. Well, there's gonna be a right moment to start again, maybe quite soon, who knows... :)

All the songs I offer here are free to download. I hope you will enjoy them!!

I used other artist's names when I wrote the songs, but now I am releasing them under the name "Alnitak", which seems to be a better choice than my previous name(s) ... haha...

I am deeply indebted to Steve Holloway, former owner of a second-hand record shop in Vienna, who, in 2002-2003 let me record tons of samples off old vinyl records from his shop. 

Sorry for the bad production quality, but all I had back then was an old PC, a freeware software programme and a pair of headphones ... I hope I can make better songs once I start again...
