Today, we are delighted to introduce you to Zurich-based artist Lb Honne. Lb Honne is renowned for his exceptional talent and as one of the driving forces behind the beloved Project Indigo collective and Vorgott record label.

With a musical journey encompassing the release of the beautiful 'a move' long player and the creation of awe-inspiring remixes, including recent outstanding work for Ben Kaczor, Lb Honne has firmly established himself as an artist to watch.

In this exclusive mix, Lb Honne treats us to a hybrid set, skillfully weaving together unreleased gems with carefully selected fragments from his extensive record collection. The resulting journey is steeped in the essence of a dark and pulsating dancefloor. "The wizard had grown weary, the pressure and machinations of his earthly presence had worn him down. He had injected much of himself into his creations it was the only place left he could find true solace. But even with the weight it posed, it had left him with a feeling of joy for all the genuine connections he had a chance to form to others and the feelings his creations was evoking in people.

At an opening in the cave overlooking a vast swaying field drenched in moonlight, he doffs his cape, uncovering below his true nature; a prince of beauty, radiating kindness and pure essence.

He takes one last breath before his being bursts into stars that swirl upward and disperse into the night sky, leaving nothing but his cape on the earthen floor; with markings reading “infinita”.

Joining us this month is one of the most consistent producers around at the moment. In the past six years Alex has been releasing exciting material through local Stockholm labels such as Abdulla Rashim's Northern Electronics, Bossmuik, and Aniara Records which put out his first record back in 2010. Aniara Records is also responsible for putting out the majority of his output as one half of Genius Of Time, the irresistible DJ/Live act he formed with his good friend Nils Krogh but the duo's punchy releases also found a home on Clone's Royal Oak and Gerd Janson's Running Back. The past two years have seen him focusing primarily on his solo output as Dorisburg and his most ambitious project to date arrived earlier this year on John Talobot's Hivern Discs in the form of the Irrbloss LP.

Today he's prepared a very special mix of mysterious and rare hypnotic House cuts which he recorded straight to cassette through a studio console and analogue outboard. He told us the mix is for "late night internet exploring...something to get lost within while browsing the unknown corners of the web... or possibly what a rave could sound like on an abandoned space station".
