Deadline Records presents their twelfth EP "Bamboo Tactics" by DJ and Producer Lysander.

Lysander masterfully blends tribalistic nostalgia with a modern drive, drawing inspiration from the late '90s and early 2000s. His sound reflects an era when techno was percussive, organic, and rich with heavy basslines. Following his successful debut EP "FATAL FUSION VOL 01" in early 2023, Lysander has received support from DJ Heartstring and JKS, with releases on labels like PHTM, Rave Your Soul, Concrete, and Synergie.

His new 10-track EP, "Bamboo Tactics," explores the diverse styles of the 2000s, featuring remixes by DJ SUN, DJ SWISHERMAN, Dylan Fogarty, Lasse, and The Miller. This EP is a bridge between past and future, highlighting Lysander's ability to blend historical influences with contemporary sounds.

By night, he dedicates himself entirely to his craft as a DJ, steadily making a name for himself in Montreal’s techno scene. He is a member of the Droplets collective and a resident DJ on La Face B radio, where he provides a monthly mix. Passionate about subgenres like acid techno, hard techno, hard groove, and occasionally trance and breakbeat, he crafts unique sets that blend melody and polyrhythm.
