Australian musician, composer and producer Ex Ponto aka Ivan Mašić has self-released dozens of albums with improvisation collective, Council of Elders, and experimental no-wave band, Wunderlust.

On his Offen Music debut Ex Ponto is constructing an alternative civilization of grace, post-sarcasm and intuitive response. 

„In A Quarry...Far, Far Away“ is a 15 minutes long wandering with Joseph and August Norster around The Quarry, Beech Forest, Victoria, Australia, January 27, 2020. 
Life affirming „Golden Hours“ is an alternative to the general wait for extinction and completition of a suicide program out there. An ode to the moments when sunlight turns magical.
„Shed 14“ is a personal reminiscence of the legendary club in Melbourne. 

„Ex Ponto respectfully acknowledges the Wurundjeri and Boon Wurrung people of the Kulin Nations as the sovereign owners of the country where I live and work. I recognise that sovereignty has not been ceded and pay my respects to all Elders, past, present and emerging.“

"BURN THE WATER" is a sound drift created from the recordings and cartographic work of Elise Le Floch.

In September 2023, she traveled up the Pontet stream in Gers (France), capturing the sounds of the watercourse, animals, and environments – dogs, frogs, birds, the door of a chapel...

I structured my piece using her map detailing the water density, current speed, and surrounding vegetation as a score. I added memory sounds from my sound library (fragments of existence, studio moments, isolated archives), making images of the past appear and disappear during the wander.

"The strange, carbonated eventide of Evigt Mörker's cosmos takes new dizzy routes in his latest EP, 'Ett Vilt Ljus'. With the spectre of their more recent and stoic ambient works casting a shadow through the operational tics of this latest collection of tracks, the choppy psychedelia teases frenzied abandon with each bristling manoeuvre yet pitches us into the night again whenever light threatens to break. 'Hemliga eldar', 'Huggormen som vilar', and 'Det blåser en vind genom världen, och det har det alltid gjort' model three rudiments in polyrhythm, each curiously stabilised with choral-like backdrops, while the most flustered pieces can be found cut between."
