The summer might be almost over, but GrooveTraxx is just getting started with an impressive vinyl debut. Label boss Le Babar teams up with fellow Belgian Pat Lezizmo for a delightful piece of underground House music that sets the groove and gets you going on the dance floor. Deep basslines, fresh drums and a simple melody are some of the ingredients to 'Another Love', but it's that oh so special vocal hook that really sets the mood. On the flip, two remixes complete the already-impressive 12'. Golf Clap give the track a more laidback-vibe with their trademark classy smoothness, while Scott Diaz turns it into a never ending pumping beast, perfect for those peak time moments. Young upstart and Preston based producer Taneli has been causing a sizable stir over the past twelve months, with a series of fine free downloads via The Fat! Club and Preston based new music oasis Thump; as well as his much loved Positivity EP for Group Hug Music.
He is now ready to release a his three track You [U] EP for Transmission Audio.

Lead track You [U] displays his talent for molding the sweeter sounds of UK house music with the tougher elements of garage to create the hybrid of choice in club land right now. There’s also a stripped back ‘Tool Edit’ from Taneli to accompany as well.

The Fat! Club EP 002 follows on from our hugely popular first EP last month, with another stellar five track mini-compilation, showcasing tracks from some of the UK’s most exciting underground producers.

Established in 1997, The Fat! Club encompasses a record label, blog, club night and management agency. This long running commitment to UK underground music has seen Chew The Fat! host arenas at festivals across the UK and Europe, monthly parties around the globe, and five consecutive summer residencies at We Love…Space Ibiza.

Now more than ever the UK underground scene is overflowing with creative minds and upfront beats, and The Fat! Club is as passionate as ever about new talent.

Opening the second EP we have London based Vice City who impressed us recently with their first track Fever (which is forthcoming on Retrospekt Records), so we had to get them on this EP with 'Luv Lyk Diz B4' sampling the gorgeous Faith Evans and a clever intro from Nina Kraviz.

Up next is Preston's Taneli and his massive track 'You're The One' which has been doing the rounds for the past few months with Eton Messy, Fhinq Music and countless other imitators.

On a slightly more techno tip we have Fixtyone27 resident Gage from Bristol and his acid banger 'Burnin'.
Beach Justice lights up proceedings on his big room stomper 'That Feeling', with some lovely top lines throughout.
Finally, but certainly by no means least we have Johnbear and Bria with their take on Janet Jackson's 'Someone To Call My Lover'.

After establishing itself as an influential promoter in the UK Bass scene, the collective Aliasizm signify their move into the label game with the release of a six-track compilation EP, conveniently titled ‘Alias’. It acts as an embodiment of the exciting sounds and producers that are arising from the new house revival that Aliasizm are pushing as of now, with support and kind words coming courtesy of influential DJs and tastemakers such as Hannah Wants, MistaJam, Breach & Roska.

The release weaves in and out of the techno-leaning vibe of Oflynn’s club-ready smash entitled “Mantle”, through to the smoother old-school sounds of Cambridge-based producer Luminaire. South Royston, Whitesquare and Night Dives also come through with infectious tracks that round off a promising first release from the German-UK outfit.
