A luminary of Detroit's electronic music scene, the balaclava-bearing master brought his trademark sounds to the Warehouse at our Halloween party last October for 3 fist-thumping hours. Running between electro and techno, DJ Stingray 313 delivered a killer set, with his dynamic performances and futuristic productions proving why he's seen as a legend around the globe.

Born and raised in the industrial suburbs of Turin, Stenny earned recognition in the last decade as both an accomplished producer and DJ. Exploring club culture and sound art, his journey has been one of constant research and reinvention, avoiding trends and the demands of contemporary music consumption while embracing the slower and more deliberate nature of his craft. 

Stenny’s work traverses the full electronic music landscape. Whether embracing new narrative structures and compositional experiments or consolidating the immediacy of a dancefloor-oriented project, each release marks a point of departure. Familiar yet constantly shifting, his sonic language remains identifiable within the experimental techno spectrum but expands beyond genre boundaries. 

Currently based in Munich, Stenny is an Ilian Tape affiliate and a Blitz Club resident. His artistic expression consists mostly of DJ sets and live performances. Fearless in his approach, he ventures through his broad range of musical influences with spontaneity and control, committed to creating an ever-unique and immersive experience.

Da igual en qué década digas esto: “menuda generación de músicos británicos hay ahora mismo”. Nerds de la electrónica en varias épocas distintas han soltado esa frase y no ha habido quien no le asiente con la cabeza convencido de lo mismo. Actualmente no lo es menos, y atendemos a un momento donde buena parte de las buenas novedades que te notifica tu streaming de referencia tienen un código postal de esas islas. 

Destacamos, selección musical mediante, a esta última generación de productores británicos y de paso nos damos un garbeo por las diferentes escenas locales, analizando sus matices sonoros y los sellos que los lanzan hacia el resto del mundo. Un musicón de escándalo, promesa, ya verás que gozón. 
Para los/las más avezad@s, un poquito de disclaimer : No están todos los que están, pero si son todos los que están. Es una generación inabarcable que daría para un EM sobre cada escena, cada sello, incluso sobre cada un músico...algún día allá por la 2X temporada, cuando la perspectiva temporal permita encuadrar y dar prosa a cada uno de ellos lo tendrán, porque no.
