Carl Cox is an industry figure head whose legacy in music includes his iconic label Intec, which he runs with friend and business partner Jon Rundell.

Techno focused, the new Intec release comes from Nicole Moudaber who is one of the worlds leading DJs and producers. 

Having graced the best known clubs and festivals in the world she is a headline act who has also released music on labels such as Adam Beyer's Drumcode and Pan-Pot's Second State. 

Nicole Moudaber features regularly on Intec and a core member of the labels family of artists, which also includes the likes of Harvey McKay, Sidney Charles, Josh Wink, Dosem and Carlo Lio.

With a wealth of music history Nicole Moudaber is an event promoter and founder of MOOD Records, plus her weekly radio show InTheMOOD it helps keep her ahead of the game.

This sophisticated release has industrial undertones and a raw sound that showcases Nicole Moudaber's underground side, with a selection of tracks worthy of Berghains main room.

Empty Space is understated Techno with sparse percussion and deep atmospherics layered over a prominent kick drum. Dark and eerie with industrial undertones, this intelligent track is like a detailed piece of black and white artwork, where shade and texture are used to add contrast and eloquence.

Be Gone has a menacing lead synth and enthralling offbeat stabs that combine with subtle pads to creature a brooding tension. Dancefloor focused, its all about the breakdown where everything becomes a tornado of sound until the storm breaks and a pounding kick drum emerges.

Young Hearts is stripped back with fast flowing high hats and monstrous synths that bellow like air raid sirens. Adding to the menace are sculpted sounds which weave round the vigorous rhythms of the mechanical percussion that houses the tracks array of sonic components.

Flug, as his name suggests, allows his audience to take a trip back to their roots, back to their inner self and what it is to really feel techno. The Argentinian´s definition of techno has been clearly demonstrated not only through his DJ sets in clubs and festivals all around the globe that are as devastating as they are uplifting with his serious kick drums, use of hi-hats and reverberating bass lines, but also through driving his own organically produced techno forward through his releases and remixes. Jacob makes his Phobiq debut and kicks off his EP with the haunting title track which twists and turns with hypnotic spoken sword snippets and grinding hats. Things continue in the same vein in his collaboration with DJOKO, as we are introduced to manic claps, percussion galore and Old School stabs. &#8220;MDxx High&#8221; offers a more subliminal approach at first, courtesy of the rubber-band bassline, but then flips everything around and breaks into an ultra-retro synth lead. &#8220;Tribe&#8221; closes up with a firm nod to the roots of this sound, and before we know it we are witnessing an actual siren burst out of nowhere.

The title track sets the mood as soaring synths and melodic riffs clear the way for the epic breakdown, while “Everyday” continues in the same vein all the way through before we are introduced to a groovy vocal section for the grand finale. 
Closing this exquisite release is “Elevation” with its stomping rhythm section followed by bumping bass which ensures a flawless ride.

April the 24th meets brilliant Italian artist - M.I.T.A. to join CODEX Family with his Purpose EP!
Mattia Borriello, better known as M.I.T.A., born in ’90. Started his career at the age of 14. During years improved his skills in studio and decided to spend a couple of hours more working on his first tracks. Still young, he released an EP on Phobiq, neapolitan label born from techno master Sasha Carassi. From that point everything changed: in 2010 he made a remix for “Polychromatic” and, after a while, had the pleasure to have been remixed from worldwide known artists such as Audio Injection, Paul Mac and The Advent & Industryalizer just to name a few. 2014 is an awesome year: “Level Down” EP born in collaboration with techno guru The Advent, appeared on Mixmag magazine as top release of the month (December). Friendship with Cisco became stronger so they both decided to come back in studio together and the result was a 2-tracker ep released on Elevate. Pig&Dan didn’t miss the chance and asked M.I.T.A. to remix their track ‘Modular Baptism’ and after a few months released on Nicole Moudaber’s Mood Records ‘The God Particle’ EP, born in collaboration with Anna V.
2019 started in the best way possible assigning ‘Wide Angle’ EP to Coyu’s legendary label Suara and “Rotation Ep’ on Elevate.
In the end of the year, Mattia worked again with The Advent on a remix made for Audiomatiques’ track ‘Function’ which was released on Unrilis.
Works of M.I.T.A. didn’t pass unnoticed and his tracks were supported by Richie Hawtin, Paco Osuna, Slam, Pan Pot, Umek, Nicole Moudaber, Julian Jeweil, Amelie Lens, Jay Lumen, Kaiserdisco, Maya Jane Coles, Sam Paganini, Luigi Madonna, Regal, 2000 and One, Luca Agnelli, Andres Campo, Tim Xavier, Dj Emerson, Alan Fitzpatrick, Pig&Dan, Tomy DeClerque, Sian,Gary… and the list goes on :)
