Globetrotter producer-DJ and label head Simina Grigoriu unveils "Edge Of The World", a crisp and harmonious original construction banded together with three reiterations.

The title track unveils a punchy straight-hitter with a constant array of piercing hi hats atop its eponymous vocal. One made for the highly strained moments of a set, it’s a track that combines dark atmospheres and metallic leads with subtle harmonious undertones.

It’s these harmonic underlayers that the AKA AKA fellows base their remix on. Enhancing the melodic bits and adding oomph with extra zippy pads, not to mention a slow mo-gone-fast forward drop, the
result is a mind-bending one.

Nusha brings a minimal flair to Simina’s original, stripping down its elements and rebuilding an imminent groove onset by the way of gloomy vocals and impish percussion.

Housemeister’s perspective appears scintillated and fragmented, with an emphasis on the dance appeal. Bass and percussion come first, followed by a steady lead and minimalist elements heading into a blissed out oblivion.

Veerus is back with his much anticipated follow up on Transmit Recordings. A 3 track beauty of a release that's lead by the track “WAW” that’s just full of energy, and hard hitting beats! Side B features “Feel” a smoother techno groover with a real distinct vocal sample that will have clubbers mumbling it for years. The EP closes with “Highlands” a late night heavy sounding tune. Overall a superb EP from Veerus.

Tronic needs no introduction for those who have followed dance music for the last 20 or so years. Since its inception back in 1994, Christian Smith has founded a label that constantly delivers top techno tracks year after year. Not only does he run the label, but also has his long-standing Tronic radio show, which is syndicated in more than over 100 countries worldwide.
Known and loved for its albums, Tronic released the very first of its kind with a collaboration only project in 2017 with 'Synergy' and this June we can reveal who is on the official remix pack. 
New names to the label appear on this release, including Petter B and Oliver Deutschmann with their heavy hitting tracks in the pack. Fast-paced, synthetic soundscapes and intricate percussive elements for some late-night rave style rework.
Shall Ocin comes in with a rolling synthetic hook, dark ominous bellowing horns, and a punchy clap, whilst Agaric's complex remix has an array of pad and synth work for a futuristic edge to the original.
Acid and breakbeat are coming back, and that can be heard in both the Jam El Mar and Zeta Reticula remixes. Jam El Mar, the only artist to have released on Tronic before drops a snapping acid line, thick kick and has a massive pad engulfing the mix, this is a big room techno anthem with a hint of trance. Zeta Reticula's breakbeat electro inspired attitude reigns in the mix, with a vocoder vocal coupled with some synths.

Its been a while since we released a V/A on Noir Music and I only ever compile them whenever I feel I have 5-6 tracks that stand out.
Dark Stars Volume 4 has been 6 months in the making and yes..... I know I am picky with the music I sign.
I hear that on an almost daily basis.
But even though I could pick music from many different artists it still took me months of compiling, testing the music in clubs and at festivals and then putting together the tracks I felt stood out and complimented each other.
The great thing about V/As is that you get the chance to put together a release from artists with completely different sounds and ideas.
Although the sound of Dark Stars Volume 4 is quite minimal sounding overall, it still reflects musicality and great in-depth productions by skillful and experienced artists.
Another great thing about Volume 4 is that these are all artists who make their debut on Noir Music.
I truly love playing every single track from this release and I enjoy watching the crowds reactions around the globe.
I feel no need to get deeper into detail about the specific tracks, as the music will speak for itself.

Celebrating the labels landmark 100th release, Uto Karem has compiled a special 14 track LP with hand-selected new tracks from Cristian Varela, Loco & Jam, Filterheadz, Mladen Tomic, and Anderson Noise plus many others including himself. Along with releasing tracks by established veterans such as UMEK, Rino Cerrone, Ramiro Lopez, The Advent and Ramon Tapia, the label has on many occasions featured fresh new talent, and its vibrant history includes giving early releases to the likes of Joseph Capriati, Paride Saraceni and Rafa Barrios when they were still relatively unknown. This release showcases the Agile Recordings sound and some of the artists that have been instrumental in the label's development since the first EP in 2008. Covering a full spectrum of techno and all its sub-genres, the core of the label focuses on peak-time tracks. This four-tracker is yet another pivotal career moment for this exciting Portuguese artist, whose summer has included shows at Beachland, Free Your Mind Festival, and Dance Valley, where Pig & Dan saw her play for the first time; they loved her sound and quickly a friendship emerged over an equal love for music, resulting in them signing her to their ELEVATE imprint.

‘Rebirth’ the EP is a masterclass in old-school-influenced acid-sharpened bangers, gritty yet melodic. All four tracks mark the start of an exciting few months for Valente.

‘Unapologetic’ pulls you straight in, with a driving bass, piston-powered stabs and a scintillating top line, tied together with a soulful vocal loop. With ‘Under the Radar’, hi hats fizz through industrial clangs, building a contagious energy. ‘Background Story’ ramps up the intensity with a haunting top line and startling, scattered percussion, climbing to a peak before the pounding beat takes over.
