This feature has been a long time in the making. While we couldn’t link up as originally planned for a full hour B2B session, we’re still bringing you something special — a 30-minute guest mix from RAINA that’s sure to deliver. Raina is a Bristol-based dubstep selector known for crafting dark, gritty, and sub-heavy sonic journeys. A dynamic selector with a deep appreciation for both foundational and forward-thinking bass music, Raina’s sets weave through eras and energies, spotlighting pioneers and emerging talent alike. A key member of underground label SOLITUDE, she’s part of a collective reshaping the sound and future of the scene with an inclusive and progressive ethos.
 
Raina has delivered sets on Subtle Radio, SWU.FM, and Mode London, and has shared lineups with the likes of EL-B, Nancy June, Zero FG, Sepia, and GLM. Subdue returns with a soulful and deep body of work. The Exeter-based producer is back with his latest release, Verde EP. A project that showcases both the lighter, soulful side and the deeper, minimal edges of drum & bass. Known for his atmospheric textures, heavy basslines, and detailed rhythms, Subdue continues to build on his signature sound while exploring new territory.

At the heart of the EP is Side by Side, featuring outstanding vocals from Lauren Walton and the lyrical mastermind, that is Verbz. Together, they compose the summer anthem of the year. Subdue perfectly demonstrates that his production skills are not confined to a single subgenre, offering four tracks that each stand out on their own, from deep, stripped-back minimalism to soulful flavours. The 'Verde EP' has it all, with something for everyone.

Over the past five years, Subdue has quietly carved out a place for himself in the scene, with standout releases on respected labels such as Skankandbass, Soulvent Records, Onyx Recordings, and Transparent Audio. With Verde, he brings together everything he’s been working towards, delivering a cohesive project that highlights his sonic range and evolving artistic style.
