Hailing from former industrial town Winterthur in Switzerland, switch/case has always been fascinated by fast, dynamic and darker music. When she fell in love with Drum & Bass it was only a matter of time until she picked up DJing, which already scored her some impressive opportunities. After being introduced to the fascinating world of music production, she felt the need for more self expression and dived right into it, slowly learning the ins and outs of making her own tracks. Now a few years later, she is finally releasing her second track after making an appearance on Demand Records last month.

After smashing it with a huge 12-track LP on Galacy Records—plus releases on top-tier labels like Goldfat, Liquicity, and Fokus Recordings—Leniz is back on Four Corners for his third release on the label, and it’s easily his best yet.

Despite being just 22, he’s already got a decade in the game, earning props from Liquid Drum & Bass legends like LTJ Bukem, Technimatic, and High Contrast. His latest EP, ‘Declare Peace’, is a proper showcase of his range. The title track slows things down with a jungle-infused vibe, while ‘Bromantiek’, his collab with Oneiroi, cranks up the energy with a fun, funky twist.

Codename: RCRDS welcomes another newcomer to the label, and a first from South America, with the unique tech-funk drum and bass pressure of Brazil's ErBass.

EP opener 'Focus' demonstrates exactly this with a driven head-down dancefloor stomper, before the wobbler of a title track 'Pressure' keeps things bubbling along nicely. Minimal tech roller 'Amos Seven' keeps the grooves in play before 'Road To Emaus' makes full use of the space around its tightly knitted drum work, before label favourite TRC2 offers up a dark edged rework of 'Focus' with another stunning trademark take on modern techstep from this impressively talented artist.
