Papi Nick León is back to perreo duties with three killer cuts that honour the genre nostalgia and recall those first sonic encounters on the radio when we were kids. We are proud to present the last cañonazo of the year. Descending from the mountains to the Caribbean we found a guaca full of hip-breaking experimental dembow. ‘Sentimientos Encontrados’ marks another edge in the vast and stimulant sonic exploration of Nicola Cruz. The Ecuadorian artist ornamented 4 tracks with a wide rhythmic spectrum where sound currents from two continents are masterfully fused: South American percussions, 303 lines, and his modular system are at the service of futuristic perreo but also for the banger 'Se pone caliente', a sort of bastard son between dubstep and techno conceived in the Quito heights. 

Rising Honduran reggaeton star Isabella Lovestory hops on 'O sea, sí te quiero' for a killer featuring. "Hard and fast, as a thunder", she sentences. Her heart of ice exalts the collective scream where the woman, as it usually happens in the genre and as it should be in any field, are the leading subjects/characters. Finally, the journey closes with a brilliant and classy reinterpretation of ‘Sin retorno' from Ehua. The Nervous Horizon affiliated artist delivers a percussively intense and highly functional version that plunges you into a mental and bodily march. As one of the songs dictates in a processed voice, this is music to make the dance floor get caliente.

We stayed in Ecuador for a new collaboration of exciting artists who have been pumping out belter after belter on the black market of South American underground perreo. PVSSY & Entrañas met halfway, between Guayaquil and Quito, to distill 3 intense, sharp-cut and stomping trax that capture the maximum fervor for industrial reggaeton and dramatic dancehall.

But the package also brings our usual reinterpretations. ‘Manía’ is remixed by the South African Menzi, who injects the flow that consecrated him on Hakuna Kulala. This time a slow burner with high cinematic sound design builds up a flawless nrg for the warm up momentum. Let us introduce you to el Burundanger. Let us immerse in impure Latin American brutality by the hand and machines of el quiteño Quixosis. This penetrating EP is an exercise that explores the ritualistic tone of a total loss of the ego, a harsh reaction, and a torrent of emotions that end up flowing into fury, chaos, and trance on a collective level. The name of the EP refers to ‘Burundanga’, which is extracted from the Borrachero, a tree that absorbs dark energy and neutralises it. This seed is used in shamanic rituals in the Andean region and as a drug to rob people leaving them in a half-awake state.

But these raw, saturated excursions on the Dave Smith Tempest are also an ode to destruction and its full creative power. The release comes accompanied with remixes by Bristol prodigy duo Cando, French sound visionary Flore, and the king of wormhole techno, Mike Parker - all of whom further disintegrate the original versions to make way for the genesis of new burundanga-laden sonic sedatives.

Push The Body sees Doctor Jeep continuing to explore his Latin roots with three tracks influenced by his Brazilian heritage. Title track "Push The Body" twists a baile funk vocal into a mechanized dubstep-turn-techno hybrid with a surprise rhythm switch halfway through to keep dancers on their toes, while the rolling drums and undulating bassline of "Rolla Dex" harkens back to Jeep's childhood listening to Samba. Finally, "Reso Danz" slows the tempo down for a warehouse-ready dembow mutation featuring his signature sound design.

In the meantime, Hodge polishes a killer-nostalgic, swinging Bristolian Techno Dembow version of “Reso Danz”. Then a friend de la casa, Aquarian, lands on the label to basically give birth to a new genre: el Psy Le Funk! Finally, master Binga destroys everything, as per usual, with a 160 bpm turbo-ballistic take of “Rolla Dex”.

Exciting news on the horizon: There's a new EP from el Duro Durán. Pa' Bailar is the new work of the Colombian-Swiss artist, in which he collaborates with his old talented pana, Parco Palaz. We have three tracks to get lost in the depths and eroticism that a dark, sweaty and hot dancefloor can present. After a long time, Luca once again dabbles in fast tempos that intertwine nostalgia and incisive percussive programming, whilst also slower, more sexy bends, as on "Ojos Cerrados".

We welcome to the label one of our favorite sound explorers in the world, Belgian-based producer and multi-instrumentalist Maoupa Mazzocchetti. After creating the intro for our last compilation, Maoupa delivers us Cilicio, an EP that ensures a high point in his cult catalogue, exploring tracks that guarantee devastation in any risk-taking set. Four of the tracks belong to that unique universe where the unpredictable artist always sets his own rules. The other two consist of stellar collabs- an essential featuring his friend Clara! and the other made with an old amigo of the label, the Venezuelan Cardopusher aka Safety Trance.

On the remixes, we went all out with 'también'. Our papi Nick León returns home with a melancholic 140 roller that has the trademark, dembowish-techno sound of the Miami producer. Finally, we are delighted to have on the label the Mexican who is breaking all the rules of this "industry", Regal86. As usual with his work and in line with only the greatest producers, the Monterrey artist essentially gave us a loop, one where we could stay forever.

Then comes the grief: bye bye sweetness, chao joy, adiós tenderness... then -¡ayayay! the terror, the slow fade-out, the nothingness. At last that sparkle in the dark edge of the hiss shows us the way to the ultimate surrender, to then become a garden in the void, and finally return to mamá amor as big beautiful rainbows.

We had to start the year on a high note and it could only be with the long-awaited debut EP of the Venezuelan nene WOST. Today we present ‘Miniteca Selvática’, three aggressive, intense and percussive cuts with an extremely catchy vocal manipulation that condenses very well the current state of the Sudaka electronics.

For the main track, an unprecedented Andean duo came together. Our protégé Entrañas collaborates with Kelvin Becerra, the boy born in San Cristóbal, for a propulsive Brazil tinged stomper. And well… this time, instead of doing our typical remix package, we simply decided to bring one of the greatest: The Hessle x TraTraTrax collaboration is back with a remix by Kevin McAuley aka Pangaea.

Our protégé Entrañas, one of Ecuador's up-and-coming artists, returns home with his first solo EP. ‘Yapa’ is an exploration of the frontiers of global club music, blending unique Latin American rhythms and flavours with classic electronic music sounds. Drawing from Ecuador’s rich cultural heritage, these three tracks provide the closest approximation to what we might call Latin Bass.

The remixes add a sharp and multifaceted energy that will resonate both in and out of the club. First, upsammy delivers her purest version in the territory (80 — 90 bpm) that has established her as one of the finest DJs and producers of the moment. Additionally, we decided to feature two of our favourite techno acts of the moment, Fireground and 1morning, who deliver exhilarating, hard-groove reminiscent breakneck reinterpretations of good late 90s — early 2000s iconic sound.

This collaboration between Colombian Drone Mafia and Gibrana Cervantes is the beginning and end of a fragile geography, like the magic and mafia of our platanal, a bridge between the Americas.

CDM is the new alias of Nyksan, Bogota-born DJ, sound artist and co-founder of TraTraTrax. Here, he joins forces with Mexican composer and violinist Gibrana Cervantes, one of the most outstanding string voices sounding across the most vital electronic and avant-garde music scenes of recent years. Together, the duo creates dark and cabalistic ambient, all woven around intricate, gut-moving sonorities. Colombian Drone Mafia dissolves the boundaries between synthesis and field recordings, crafting experimental yet primitive textures that infect listeners through the layered melodic spaces that Gibrana masters.

We cordially invite you to listen to this journey of immersive drones through lush vegetation and concrete jungle, music that is at times contemplative and at other times violent. Hanging between deep listening and deep boredom, Memoria suspends a sonic archeology of Bogotá and its surroundings in looping repetition, evoking a dream. A glimpse of the sound of the end.
