We are proud to present the last cañonazo of the year. Descending from the mountains to the Caribbean we found a guaca full of hip-breaking experimental dembow. ‘Sentimientos Encontrados’ marks another edge in the vast and stimulant sonic exploration of Nicola Cruz. The Ecuadorian artist ornamented 4 tracks with a wide rhythmic spectrum where sound currents from two continents are masterfully fused: South American percussions, 303 lines, and his modular system are at the service of futuristic perreo but also for the banger 'Se pone caliente', a sort of bastard son between dubstep and techno conceived in the Quito heights. 

Rising Honduran reggaeton star Isabella Lovestory hops on 'O sea, sí te quiero' for a killer featuring. "Hard and fast, as a thunder", she sentences. Her heart of ice exalts the collective scream where the woman, as it usually happens in the genre and as it should be in any field, are the leading subjects/characters. Finally, the journey closes with a brilliant and classy reinterpretation of ‘Sin retorno' from Ehua. The Nervous Horizon affiliated artist delivers a percussively intense and highly functional version that plunges you into a mental and bodily march. As one of the songs dictates in a processed voice, this is music to make the dance floor get caliente.

Let us introduce you to el Burundanger. Let us immerse in impure Latin American brutality by the hand and machines of el quiteño Quixosis. This penetrating EP is an exercise that explores the ritualistic tone of a total loss of the ego, a harsh reaction, and a torrent of emotions that end up flowing into fury, chaos, and trance on a collective level. The name of the EP refers to ‘Burundanga’, which is extracted from the Borrachero, a tree that absorbs dark energy and neutralises it. This seed is used in shamanic rituals in the Andean region and as a drug to rob people leaving them in a half-awake state.

But these raw, saturated excursions on the Dave Smith Tempest are also an ode to destruction and its full creative power. The release comes accompanied with remixes by Bristol prodigy duo Cando, French sound visionary Flore, and the king of wormhole techno, Mike Parker - all of whom further disintegrate the original versions to make way for the genesis of new burundanga-laden sonic sedatives.

Push The Body sees Doctor Jeep continuing to explore his Latin roots with three tracks influenced by his Brazilian heritage. Title track "Push The Body" twists a baile funk vocal into a mechanized dubstep-turn-techno hybrid with a surprise rhythm switch halfway through to keep dancers on their toes, while the rolling drums and undulating bassline of "Rolla Dex" harkens back to Jeep's childhood listening to Samba. Finally, "Reso Danz" slows the tempo down for a warehouse-ready dembow mutation featuring his signature sound design.

In the meantime, Hodge polishes a killer-nostalgic, swinging Bristolian Techno Dembow version of “Reso Danz”. Then a friend de la casa, Aquarian, lands on the label to basically give birth to a new genre: el Psy Le Funk! By altering, editing, or simply letting the sounds manifest themselves, Lechuga generates a wide and complex rhythmic-timbral universe. After acclaimed edits and remixes in recent years, we've decided to sign what we consider to be Colombia's most exciting new talent: Brenda. The Bogotá-based artist presents "Húmedo", a three-track EP that brings together and consolidates high design, playful melodies, and sharp percussion that strongly collides UK and Colombia’s sound influences. In short, a great example of the current state of the Sur América bass technology.

This time there are no remixes, but on A1, the single we're releasing today before the full EP comes out on August 22nd, there's a stellar Colombian collaboration. After the celebrated "Ronaldinho hace la elástica" and a remix for Dengue Dengue Dengue & Prisma, Verraco returns to the label to inject his gnarly FM synthesis and meticulous design into "Rápido & Lento ;)". Brenda & Verraco: Wet Fusion.

Ah no wait, maybe there is a remix. We have a surprise from Time Light Curve, an old aka from the legend Gerard Hanson also know as Convextion, serving class and deepness for the true electro heads. This revision of “Rápido & Lento ;) is available only on Bandcamp.

As part of our ongoing efforts to look for top notch sound designers across the globe, we fell upon the auteur of our next release. The parisian De Grandi and his turbo-charged club beats serve us a filled platter of 4 Tracks and two remixes in ‘Testa Dura’.

Going through a thick bass + crisp percs combo and perpetual crescendos we start things off with the main course — and title track: a dubstep to tribal hybrid launching at full throttle across a universe of trickling electronics. A taster of what’s to come, a record packed with intricacies and high risk dubs.

This time we got two remixes from three producers in the UK:FR wavelength, Beatrice M. with their signature Dubstep elegance + the can you feel the sun duo Call Super + Parris injecting the house flare with the finger snapping vocals.

After a few months of the release of our second LP, the dystopian—Miami-inspired—forward-thinking record by Nick León, ‘A Tropical Entropy’, we thought it was time to let other producers take a shot at his output. So, we invited 7 of them from across the electronic music landscape to reconstruct the sunlit beaches of Nick’s original tracklist.
